Peace. It is a word that we take for granted in New Zealand, but one that took unprecedented gravitas when a group of international runners on Monday delivered to Parliament a torch representing just that. In a case of extraordinary timing, members of the Sri Chinmoy Peace Run arrived in Wellington on Sunday, two days after at least 100 people were shot, half of them killed, by a crazed gunman at two mosques in Christchurch.
