Hundreds getting vaccinated By Gerald Rillstone

Vaccinations at the Wainuiomata Marae Covid-19 clinic have got off to a great start with around 100 to 140 locals a day getting vaccinated. Seaview-based Kokiri Marae Health and Social Services run the clinic and clinical lead Cherrie Matthews says the clinic is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am till 4pm every week until Christmas. “Once we gauge the demands of the community and what people are wanting we could have evening clinics and weekend clinics,” she says.
