Flint Hills Country Club
A private golf club unlike any other, Flint Hills has been ranked in Golf Digest’s America’s Top 100 Courses, as well as their Top 50 Golf Retreats. Flint Hills hosted the 2001 USGA Womens’ Amateur Championship and the USGA Senior Men’s Amateur Championship in 2007. It ranked No. 10 in Golf Digest’s America’s Best Private Golf Retreats in 2006.
Wichita Country Club Since its founding, no other club in the state has produced as many prominent figures in Kansas and United States golf history. From Kansas State Golf Association founder John L. Crestview Country Club
Crestview Country Club is very unique among Kansas private clubs. Sand Creek Station Sand Creek station was named one of Golf Digest’s best new courses in 2007 and hosted the 2014 USGA Public Links Championship.
Tallgrass Country Club
Tallgrass Country Club is a championship course with excellent course conditions. It is an Arthur Hills Signature Course which has hosted such prestigious events as the Kansas State Amateur, Senior State Amateur and annual Colbert / Fogler Classic to name a few.

Kerry Rosenboom Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Wichita State’s Athletic Department takes every step to provide student-athletes with the tools needed to be successful. Strength and Conditioning is a key area to achieving that success. The Shocker Strength and Conditioning Program, under the close supervision of Kerry Rosenboom, is dedicated to helping each of its student-athletes. The Shockers moved into a new strength and conditioning facility upon completion of Charles Koch Arena in the fall of 2003.

Halie Malone Graduate Assistant- Athletic Training
Wichita State’s student-athletes’ healthcare upon their arrival on campus is under the direction of five full-time certified athletic trainers and five certified graduate assistant athletic trainers. Graduate assistant athletic trainer Halie Malone works with the golf teams. These certified athletic trainers provide prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of all injuries and illnesses for WSU’s student-athletes. Wichita State Athletic Training also works with the athletic training students from the WSU undergraduate athletic training education program. WSU athletic training also includes a staff of physicians who are a vital part of the student-athletes’ healthcare. They include team physicians Dr. Hossein Amirani, Dr. Doug Blackman, Dr. Brad Dart, Dr. John Fanning, Dr. Kyle Goerl, Dr. Ken Jansson, Dr. Brennen Lucas, Dr. Chris Moeller, Dr. Harry Morris, Dr. Andrew Porter, Dr. Dan Prohaska, Dr. Terra Reusser, Dr. Ty Reusser and Dr. Mark Stovak.

• On Dec. 16, 2014, Koch Industries announced that it will contribute $4.5 million to help expand and renovate the facility named for Charles Koch in 2001 in recognition of his company’s $6 million gift to expand and improve what was then Henry Levitt Arena. Among improvements planned is a major expansion of the Student Athlete Success Center, which would house academic support services, nutrition services, and personal and career development for all student athletes.

- The new residence hall, between Cessna Stadium and Morrison Hall, holds 782 beds, and a new 400-seat dining hall is attached to Shocker Hall. - Each floor has a laundry room, community kitchen and lounge area. - The new residence hall has energized WSU and provides exceptional access to academic and recreational opportunities.
