Dear Shocker Nation, Shocker Athletics strives to foster a culture of integrity and excellence that facilitates the highest quality experience for student-athletes. The Wichita State Athletics Strategic Plan is based upon a foundation of six key goals aimed toward continued achievement and provides a powerful framework for stability and inevitable growth. This strategic plan demonstrates the direction Wichita State Athletics will take its fifteen sport programs and one of the strongest academic records in the NCAA – that is, toward continued success in the classroom and in competition; quality of facilities; and superior staff and coaches who embrace the complete student-athlete. Wichita State Athletics’ pursuit of excellence mirrors the overall mission of Wichita State University as it moves toward new and greater accomplishments in a longstanding tradition of distinction.
