TO OUR WT BUFFALO CLUB MEMBERS On behalf of over 400 student-athletes at West Texas A&M University, thank you for supporting our athletic department as a Buffalo Club member. Your involvement with the Buffalo Club provides critical support to student-athletes from each of our 17 sports and allows us to achieve excellence in all areas. The quality of young people we have in our athletic program is second-to-none. Each day I am impressed with how they strive for success both academically and athletically. Our programs compete for championships on every level; conference, regionally and nationally. Those same student-athletes continue to raise the bar with a cumulative GPA of 2.93, a 9% increase over the past 10 years. I hope you understand the impact you are making on the young lives of these men and women in maroon and white with your donations. Your support helps provide an invaluable resource for our studentathletes that is needed to achieve their academic goals while competing at the highest level. We must continue to give our student-athletes the opportunity to be successful in every way and your contribution does just that. What we have at WT is special, and your continued support plays a very significant role in everything we accomplish. We look forward to a bright future with many more championships with student-athletes who graduate from West Texas A&M. Thank you for your continued support of the Buffalo Club and our student-athletes. GO BUFFS!!!

WHAT IS THE BUFFALO CLUB? THE BUFFALO CLUB is the cornerstone of West Texas A&M Athletics. The mission of the Buffalo Club is to provide an invaluable resource that promotes an environment for our student-athletes to reach their maximum potential in athletic competition, academic progress and personal development. The Buffalo Club is the sole athletic fundraising organization of West Texas A&M University, organized to assist the university with funding to benefit 17 teams and more than 400 studentathletes wearing the maroon and white. A Buffalo Club membership is essential to creating the opportunity to have a first-class experience for WT studentathletes. Membership benefits start at $120 annually and can be achieved in a variety of different ways. With the cost of attendance and state budgetary changes, your Buffalo Club membership and support are more critical than ever.

Ways to Give

ENDOWMENT: Athletic endowments are funds that are used in perpetuity to offset student-athlete scholarship costs. The income generated from these funds provide scholarships for student-athletes on an annual basis. An individual or company can establish an endowed athletic scholarship beginning at $10,000, which can be made over a three-year period. BUFFALO CLUB: The Buffalo Club Annual Campaign provides support for student-athlete scholarships on an annual basis. With your annual contribution, you become an integral part of Buff Nation and achieve status as a Buffalo Club member. Annual benefits are given at multiple levels and priority access to athletic and special events is given to Buffalo Club members.

CAPITAL GIVING: Facilities help the Buffs & Lady Buffs to recruit the best student-athletes as well as train and prepare for competition at the highest level. A gift or pledge to a capital project will add to the Buffalo Club member’s total annual giving and priority points. All seating options in the new Buffalo Stadium will require a one-time capital gift to help with the upgrades and maintenance of the stadium. ENHANCEMENT FUNDS: Each individual sport has an established account to help supplement and offset the operational costs necessary to compete on a national level. These funds are used to provide a firstclass experience for our student-athletes, they also offset the costs of championship rings, meals and equipment. T-CLUB LETTERWINNER’S ASSOCIATION: Former student-athletes, upon graduation or the exhausting of their eligibility with the NCAA, become members of our athletic alumni group, the T-Club. Active members contribute $100 annually that goes directly to their respective sports operating accounts. Head coaches can use these funds at their own discretion. PLANNED GIFT: Establish a planned gift by naming WT Athletics as the beneficiary of special gifts such as cash, securities, real estate property, life insurance and personal property items. GIFT-IN-KIND: Gifts made to WT Athletics in the form of products or services that can be used throughout the year and would otherwise be purchased by WT Athletics. All gift-in-kind must be approved by the Athletic Director.
