TERELJ HORSE RIDING TOUR 7 days / 6 nights A horse walking with the Mongolian horsemen It’s possible to combine this short trip with one of our tours, in the days before or after the 4x4 journey. DAY 1 ULAAN BAATAR - TERELJ NATIONAL PARK In the morning meeting with the Mongolian interpreter and check of the horse equipment; possibility to buy some “support food”, bottled water and missing equipment parts. Lunch free. In the afternoon departure towards Terelj National Park (100 kms. approximately). Arrival at the ger camp. Dinner and overnight stay. (Half Board) DAY 2+3 KHAN KHENTII MOUNTAIN RANGE Breakfast. Drive (20 Kms) in the Park since you’ll reach the gate after which vehicles are not allowed. Meeting with all the staff (horseman-guide/cook/horses) and departure of the horse riding tour penetrating in the Khan Khentii protected area. This zone has a high level of protection in the aim to preserve its pristine wildlife and the Government grants entrance permits prudently. During these 2 days you’ll visit local nomad families. Lunches picnic. Dinners at tent camps. Overnight stay in igloo tent. (FB) DAY 4 BELCHIR AREA Breakfast. Departure toward the Belchir area, a region of rare beauty whose scenery is often immortalised in the photographic book on Mongolia. Here you can stop to local nomad ger, watching thier daily activities and tasting some local dishes and drinks as airag (fermented mare milk)- Tent camp set up. Dinner at camp. Overnight stay in tent. (FB) DAY 5 GUNJ TEMPLE - TERELI GER CAMP Breakfast. Today you’ll begin your coming back journey. On the way visit of the Princess Gunj temple, secluded and out of the way Mongolian worship place. Lunch picnic. In the late afternoon you will say good-bye to your horse, to the cook and to the horseman who escorted the riding trip. Arrival to the ger camp. Dinner and overnight stay.(FB) DAY 6 TERELI GER CAMP - ULAANBAATAR Breakfast. Return to the Capital by car. Lunch free. Afternoon free for relax, shopping or individual visit to Museum and Monasteries. . Dinner free. Overnight stay in hotel. (BB) DAY 7 ULAANBAATAR - FLIGHT BACK Breakfast. Transfer to airport. End of services.
