HEALTHY EXCELLENCE: MORNING RUN

7:30 AM – 8:30 AM | SOUTH 40, CLOCKTOWER

Upper-division students will lead morning runs from the Clocktower into Forest Park. No preregistration required. Hosted by Recreation.

WUSA SMALL GROUP: CLASSES ARE MONDAY, GET READY!*

10:00 AM – NOON | VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Please refer to the rotation that corresponds with your residence hall. Meet once again with your WUSA small group. During this session, you will prepare for your first week of classes by engaging in conversations around academic success habits, thinking about your calendar and schedule, participating in a first-day-of-class priorities activity, and reflecting on your academic goals.

FIND YOUR CLASSES TOURS

1:45 PM – 3:45 PM | SOUTH 40, CLOCKTOWER

Bring your class schedule to the Clocktower to walk the campus with a WUSA! During this session, WUSAs will help you find your classrooms, talk with you about nearby dining facilities to help you plan your first days, and help you navigate campus. Tours leave every 10 minutes in smaller groups. The last tour will leave at 3:30 PM.

WUSA SMALL GROUP: OUR WASHINGTON AND PRE-CONVOCATION*

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | VARIOUS LOCATIONS

See communication from your WUSA for specific locations. Meet once again with your WUSA small group. In this session, you will reflect on your lessons learned during Fall Welcome, engage in an appreciation activity, and participate in a tradition, Our Washington, before reconvening with your residential college in preparation for Convocation.

CONVOCATION*

7:30 PM – 8:30 PM | BROOKINGS QUADRANGLE

A long-standing university tradition, Convocation marks your official start at WashU. Chancellor Andrew D. Martin will be joined by Provost Beverly Wendland and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Anna Gonzalez in sharing their words of wisdom for new WashU students.

PARTY IN THE PARK

8:30 PM – 9:30 PM | EAST END, TISCH PARK

Immediately following Convocation, join the Chancellor’s procession for entertainment and light refreshments.
