Angelika Zajdlic (1995) is a Cieszyn based ambitious young glass artist and graphic designer. She mainly creates stained glass, abstract geometric graphics, paintings, graphic design, and illustration; she is experienced in visual identities. Angelika's visual trademark style is a result of combining handmade graphics with well-thought-out shapes; old papers, cut&paste and illustrative elements with digital design. Her works, whether figurative or geometric-based, are very plastic and alert to the medium's specificities. She claims to seek inspiration in human anatomy, fashion magazines, architectures, nature and in the art of chance. She is interested in the world of nature (flora and fauna), focusing on the in-depth analysis of form and matter. Using the language of forms and shapes, she strives for synthesis and visual minimalism. Zajdlic cares about the ambiguity of reading her works, opening the space for their own interpretation.
