Virginias’ Conference April 14-16, 2011
MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA
The Virginias’ Conference is a regional American Society of Civil Engineers competition held each spring. Thirteen schools from Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia are invited to compete in different events that relate to the civil engineering profession. The competitions are headlined by the two national events, [the steel bridge and concrete canoe]. First place winners in these events are eligible to compete in the National ASCE Competition. Each year a different College or University has the distinct honor of hosting the Virginias’ Conference. In 2011, West Virginia University will welcome the eligible participants to Morgantown. WVU-ASCE looks forward to hosting the event and is proud to showcase our University, the city of Morgantown, and the state of West Virginia.
