WVU Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources
The Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources is the second-largest college on the University campus, enrolling nearly 4,000 students in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in 11 ABET- accredited majors in seven departments. With nearly $28 million annually in externally funded research, College faculty and students are engaged in cutting-edge research in a variety of fields including energy, advanced materials, unmanned airborne vehicles, and robotics. WVU is one of only five universities in the country with energy-production programs in petroleum and natural gas engineering, and mining engineering.
