TIMELESS BRONDE Barbara had some colour on her hair, but wanted to have a brighter and more sunkissed look that would enhance her curly texture. Natural looks are always timeless! We pre-lightened the lengths and ends with a wet balayage technique for a soft lift. Then we toned the hair with a subtle beige tone. Before: Level 6/ curly hair.

TIMELESS BRONDE STEP 1 LIGHTENING WITH WET BALAYAGE TECHNIQUE • Start at the nape area. Spray a section lightly moist. Apply lightener with freehand technique. • Let develop until the desired lightness is achieved or 50 min max. • Rinse, apply Lightplex N°2 for 10 min, shampoo and finish the lightening step with Color Radience conditioner.
STEP 2 TONING WITH DEMI-PERMANENT COLOR Apply toner on towel-dried damp hair. Let develop 10-15 min. Check the development. Rinse thoroughly.

WET BALAYAGE TIPS WET BALAYAGE is a great technique for soft accents or «sunkissed» effects.
Wet hair cuticles are open, so wet balayage can lift fast, but it will also lift less than when applied on to dry hair. When you dampen the hair, don’t overdo it. If the hair is too wet, it will dilute the lightener.
Wet balayage can also be easy to apply at the wash basin, especially if the hair is long.

Soft auburn VIBRANT AUBURN COLOUR WITH A MULTI-TONAL TWIST FOR A SOFTER FEEL.
SOFT AUBURN Linda had uncoloured hair, and she was looking for a change without going drastically lighter or darker.
We chose auburn shades with accents of brighter copper. This simple colour technique results in a blended multi tonal look.

SOFT AUBURN STEP 1 • Apply formula A to the roots. • Continue with applying highlighting parts starting from the nape area, alternating formula B and C.
• Apply highlights to the face framing area and continue to the «diamond» at the crown area
STEP 2 • Once the foils are done, apply base colour (formula A) to the remaining lengths & ends. • Let develop for 35min. • Emulsify and rinse, shampoo and finish with Color Radiance PostColor Treatment.

SATIN BLONDE PLAY BOLD WITH DIMENSIONAL SATIN BLONDE, HIGHLIGHTED WITH THE AIRTOUCH TECHNIQUE
SATIN BLONDE Nicol wanted to go blonder and brighter, but with a highlighted look instead of fullhead colour. Her hair was highlighted by using the Airtouch technique. With this technique, the blow-dryer is used to separate the «young» hair, and only the hair that is long until the ends is lightened. This gives a more blended result. After lightening, the hair was toned with Demi permanent for a natural-tone finish. Before: Level 8/ uncoloured fine to medium hair type.

AIRTOUCH application takes time, so we chose a low developer for the areas that are applied first, then we used a higher one for the top & front sections which are applied last.
SATIN BLONDE STEP 1 LIGHTENING WITH AIRTOUCH TECHNIQUE • Section the hair in four parts, start with the nape area. • Take a slice, hold it from the ends and lightly blow dry the shorter, younger hair away. • Separate the hair with foil on a board and apply the lightener evenly on the foil. A long foiling board helps to control foil application close to root. • Work with small sections (max 5mm) • Once you reach the top of the head, you may use one step higher developer. • Let develop max 50min or until the desired lightness is achieved. • Rinse, shampoo and finish the lightening step with Color Radiance conditioner.
STEP 2 TONING WITH DEMI PERMANENT • Apply on damp hair for 10- 15 minutes.

AIRTOUCH TIPS NATURAL RESULT With the Airtouch technique, the result is natural and blended, with more lightness on the ends than the roots, just like in natural hair.
PREMIUM TECHNIQUE Airtouch technique requires time, so it should be charged accordingly. On the other hand, the regrowth will look softer and maintenance is not required as often.
LONG FOILING BOARD We recommend to use a long foiling board for a a controlled application.
HIGHLIGHTING REGROWTH One of the main benefits of Airtouch technique is the controlled regrowth colouring. After few months of regrowth, with Airtouch you can «pick» the same hair that has been highlighted before!

EXPRESSIVE AND FUN - A QUICK TECHNIQUE TO REFRESH BLONDE WITH A LIVED-IN STATEMENT TONE
STRAWBERRY BLONDE Josie likes to be blonder but wishes for something fun. She had old highlights on the ends, so we decided to refresh her hairlights with a smart foiling technique that requires less than 20 foils. After pre-lightening, we toned the hair with a strawberry blonde hue, for a lived-in but expressive result!
Before: Level 7-8/ hair with highlights in the ends.

You may use PERMANENT COLOR for toning too. Mix 1:2 with 1,9% developer.
STRAWBERRY BLONDE STEP 1 LIGHTENING • Section the hair and weave highlights as seen in the picture. • Add a «money piece» to the front section.
• Let develop max 50min or until the desired lightness is achieved. • Rinse, apply Lightplex N°2 for 10 minutes, shampoo and finish the lightening step with Color Radiance Conditioner.
STEP 2 PASTEL TONING WITH PERMANENT COLOR • Apply toner on towel-dried damp hair. Let develop 10-15 minutes.

Apply and develop. • When the desired result has been achieved, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
