Puik showcases a tasteful range of furniture and accessories made by Dutch designers that are narrowed down to a collection of essentials. Puik selects and coproduces, showcases and delivers. Straight from the source to liven up your home, or spice up any workspace.

The founders of Puik, Freek Claessen and Daan Gescher, always have had a passion for art and design. In 2012, they found themselves inspired by the quality and the enthusiasm of Dutch designers. This fueled the spark, that made them decide to chase their dreams and start Puik.

Freek and Daan, who have a professional background in production and sales, realized that even though Dutch designers create beautiful products, they often do not reach the audience they deserve. By taking this as a base and by utilizing each other’s unique expertise, it became clear that you could only stand stronger by working together. This resulted in a diverse portfolio of design icons, which quickly found their way to countless stores.

Design as a branch is constantly evolving, so for the founders it only comes naturally to evolve with it. Over the last few years, Puik has been able to grow exponentially. Under the guidance of art director Tineke Beunders, the entire collection was revised and Puik embraced a renewed style.

Our unique design items come into their own, by using natural light and reflection, soft colour tones and transparent materials. Puik has the ambition to keep doing bigger and better things in the future. Their goal is to introduce the world to Dutch contemporary Design.

Here is the look at the latest designs which are regarded as some of the best ideas for interiors of your décor: An old acquaintance with a new look Named for the native word meaning ‘friendship’, the Dost dining chair was inspired by one of our most basic human needs: comfort. This inviting, cosy chair has been designed to provide a sense of solace and safety. Whether you’re having a dinner with friends or just want to read a paper, a few moments resting on a Dost dining chair will be as comforting as a cuddle from an old chum. Dost Dinner is a design by Rianne Koens. Measuring 60 x 58 x 88 cm, the Dost Dinner is available in 8 colours.

A hug for your home The Dost wool lounge chair is designed to provide a sense of solace and safety. Whether you’re having a bad day or just want to curl up with a good book, a few moments resting on a Dost chair will be as comforting as a cuddle from an old chum. Measuring 66 x 70 x 78cm, the Dost chair is available in yellow, dark grey, light grey and ivory shades.

An inventive table for a modern home Bas Vellekoop is known for his eye for detail. Those details are usually visible and essential to the overall design, forming a defining element of the aesthetics. This style is reflected in Fold because of the origamistyle detail in the table legs. The lasercut steel frame consists of eight individual parts that have been folded together, resulting in elegant joints and an impressive finish.

Natural beauty meets noble design Bring the outside in with Shunan, our round metal and wood coffee table inspired by China’s serene forest. Ideal for use as a side or coffee table, Shunan’s curved ash top is supported by strong, vertical steel legs, creating an organic and elegant feel. Measuring 45 x 45cm, the table represents a perfect marriage of classic simplicity and contemporary flair. Shunan is a design by Nieuwe Heren.

The stool that strikes gold The design style of Ka-Lai Chan can be described as minimal, less is more, narrative yet functional. She wants to bring people closer to the products by telling a story, using particular materials, craft or experience. The design style of Ka-Lai is reflected in the way Bokk is designed: the use of minimal lines, materials, and an aesthetic yet functional design. Ka-Lai was inspired by the traditional buck: Bokk is a reinvention of this oldfashioned gymnastic equipment. What makes this design special are the clear, geometric lines that support and embrace the cushion. Ka-Lai decided to use steel legs and a cushion of felt because of the intriguing contrast.

Please be seated Frederik Roijé is a designer because he is fascinated by creating. He designs interior products in order to make people’s life environment more pleasant. The Option chair was designed by combining three of the primary forms. This creates multiple possibilities within one design, thus allowing the users to add their own touch. What makes the Option special is the variety within the design that can be created by the simplicity of the forms.
