In Performance at the White House
In honor of Black History Month, WXXI-TV and Radio will broadcast several programs that celebrate African-American heritage. As part of its special line-up, WXXI is pleased to bring viewers In Performance at the White House: A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement, a concert in the White House East Room hosted by President and Mrs. Barack Obama. The hour-long special, taped live from Capitol, includes performances by Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Seal, Smokey Robinson and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
