Course details An evidence based programme committed to changing the way students and staff feel about themselves when they are asked to take a risk. Maths Hub’s Regional Conference, Holborn Bars, London (all day) A project based programme whereby interns complete a project in another school in order to develop their experience. An evidence based programme committed to changing the way students feel about themselves when taking a risk. Providing a clear summary of the current context and offering practical ways to adapt current provision to maximise impact and student progress. Programme offered in conjunction with the Institute of Education, designed to enhance your understanding of strategic leadership. This session covers ‘Entitled to lead: “It’s my role”. An informative and practical programme during which a range of experts host various sessions to give leadership training. Topics such as preparing for Ofsted, communication skills, use of data and transformational leadership skills are covered. Delegates are also supported to conduct Action Research within their own school setting.

Course details Programme designed to demonstrate the benefits of effective school based Action Research and how it positively impacts the quality of teaching. To explain exam board specifications, how to plan schemes of work, the importance of home learning and methods of assessment; generally, how to advance your skills. Providing an awareness of attitudes towards mathematics, how these arise and how to overcome them and promote mathematics positively. An informative and practical programme during which a range of experts host various sessions to give leadership training. Topics such as preparing for Ofsted, communication skills, use of data and transformational leadership skills are covered. Delegates are also supported to conduct Action Research within their own school setting. To explore effective uses of technology, achieve maximum value from student tablet use, introduce behaviour management strategies in a connected classroom and share best practice. To offer suggestions for alternative, creative and exciting assessments in History, explore peer and self-assessment strategies and provide a networking opportunity.
