WYCOMBE HIGH SCHOOL
CAREERS BULLETIN A warm welcome from Mrs Penny Chidgey the Higher Education & Careers Adviser at WHS.
I am very excited to join WHS and am looking forward to meeting you all, whether it be in one of the PSHEE Career day events or at an individual appointment, please don’t be shy and come visit me in the Careers Office upstairs in the Learning Centre. We have a brilliant programme of events lined up this term and over the whole of the academic year, which should go a long way in supporting you through the options and career choices you will be making in the course of your school career. Meeting the needs of all students is very important to me and we have many events lined up, with the ‘Living in the Wider World’ as part of the PSHEE days and ‘Inspire and Career’ talks where you have the chance to meet some of the WHS alumni and find out what they are doing now. Other events include Year 10 and Year 12 visits to universities and the Careers & Higher Education Fair to be held in March 2019 at WHS. I hope to offer something for everyone whatever your education and career interests or aspirations, even if you have no idea yet – I am here to help. Wishing you every success with your studies and beyond. Mrs Chidgey Higher Education & Careers Adviser
