Looking back, how did Lockdown feel and what have you learnt from it?
Lonely and I’ve learnt to appreciate being with my friends more. Nothing like repressing every emotion you’ve ever felt about it and realizing how dependent you are on consistency and routines. I have learnt to analyse my priorities. Certain routines that I thought were crucial weren’t so important anymore. I’ve learnt to live in the moment more because we never know when we will see each other ever again. Grown more confident. Lockdown was really stressful. My mental health really took a turn but I’ve learnt how to pick myself back up and take better care of myself. It was a period of self discovery and being intact with reality. Growth in spirituality. Lock down made me feel very stressed. It made me very anxious as no one knew what was going to happen next and when this was going to end.
I learnt to be more content with myself and how to relax myself. I learnt to talk about what was stressing me out with those I trust so I didn’t feel so alone. I also got to learn about more hobbies
I enjoy and experiment more in the hobbies I already had. I kind of enjoyed it, it felt relieving not having to do schoolwork and worry about tests for a while.
Also I could sit outside most of the day instead of behind a desk. At first I felt very happy as we weren’t going to be at school but as the lockdown went on and it was extended I started to feel nervous because
I realized how important school is and how important to me it really was.
