THEATRE SEASON
Welcome
This is our tenth year presenting dynamic shows from some of Australia’s finest production companies and independent producers.
Come with friends or come alone, dress up or dress down, we will always make you feel welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon.
This year you will see shows from Shift Theatre, Performing Lines and Kage, Theatre Works, La Mama, Hit Productions and the State Theatre of South Australia, just to name a few.
Ross Le Clerc, Venue Manager
If you’re up to the challenge and want to see compelling performances, I have personally selected in July two La Mama’s Theatre Season shows featuring two brilliant Green Room award winning actors. Our partnership with Multicultural Arts Victoria is also an exciting endeavour as we plan our first ever free ‘Emerge’ Multicultural Event on Saturday 5 October, celebrating cultural diversity in the arts across Wyndham.

The Man In The Mirror show continues to go from strength to strength with constant performances throughout Australia, New Zealand and Sth East Asia. A powerful, critically acclaimed new Australian play, Boxman is a one man show written by Daniel Keene and directed by Matt Scholten with the extraordinary African actor Terry Yeboah performing. Sundowner
Photography: Jeff Busby
PRESENTED BY KAGE
“It’s the strangest thing. No longer being able to tell what is the past and what is the present…” The realm of memory remains a great mystery. Through the eyes of three generations, Sundowner tells the story of so many Australian families. If a loved one starts to lose their memories, what role can we play in holding on to them? How can we care for them in the present while honouring their memory? Starring Helen Morse, Sundowner combines theatre, dance and physicality in a story of lament and at times, grief and sorrow. Ultimately though, this is a story of love: love of family, love of history and love of life.
