Health walks calendar We offer a series of walks up to one hour long with 30 minute options available on certain routes. Our trained leaders take into account the pace of our walkers. All our health walks are free and there is no need to book. Everyone is welcome, no matter what their age or ability. There is also a series of bump and buggy walks between March and September, which are perfect for new and expecting parents. Plenty of our walks are also accessible for wheelchairs, and some are Tramper friendly, where you can book an off-road motorised wheelchair for your use. These can be booked via the Visit Garstang centre, please call 01995 602125 or email garstangtic@wyre.gov.uk.

All health walks graded ‘Easy’ are suitable to bring a dog; which must be kept under close control at all times, and on a lead on request of the leader

Progression walks, where you can try out a slightly more challenging route. These last approx. 2 hours with a small charge of £3.50 for adults/£2.50 for concessions (£)
Please arrive fifteen minutes before the start of the walk for a prompt departure. Our health walks are graded as follows: 1 All – relatively flat, surfaced paths, no stiles, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, may include road crossings. 2 Easy – relatively level ground, fields, lanes and tracks, possibly with some gentle slopes, stiles or livestock. 3 Moderate – uneven ground, fields, lanes and tracks with some moderate slopes, expect stiles/ livestock.
