We’ve had a great time together at BIG Camp 2015 this weekend here at the Yorkshire Events Centre in Harrogate. Our Scouting family and friends from across the UK sharing fun and adventure under the sunny (and a bit o’ rainy) skies at Harrogate. BIG Camp 2015 really has been a fun event for absolutely everybody. From our youngest Beaver Scout to those who have given to Scouting for so many years, the answer has been the same – wall-to-wall smiles telling the story of our time together. With 6500 people attending and over 300 activities on offer - it’s been three days of non-stop fun and adventure. From watersports to quad bikes, survival skills to a giant air bag drop, there were great adventures to be had in our five activity zones – not surprisingly, our young people did us proud. They simply lived the Scouting adventure. A HUGE thank you to both our talented organising team and all the committed leaders who made this event possible - district & group leaders who have worked tirelessly to make the local arrangements to bring the young people to this event. Without their commitment and effort, our young people would not be here. So again, a HUGE thank you to them for all they have done to support our time together this weekend. Last memories? Well, that has to be the inspirational smiles of the young people, great friendships of our adult volunteers and fun of Scouting together at BIG Camp 2015.
