Witches absolutely detest children. They find them revolting and are planning to wipe them out like weasels! They want to squish them and squiggle them and make them disappear. But one brave young boy and his grandmother have a plan to get rid of the witches for good… if only they can avoid being turned into mice. Directed by Curve Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster, The Witches features a hugely talented cast of actor-musicians and mind-boggling illusions that will leave you flabbergasted. TUE 12 – SAT 16 APRIL Middle Ground Theatre Company Ltd is delighted to present a lavish new production of a classic Miss Marple mystery. ‘A murder is announced and will take place on Friday, October the thirteenth, at Little Paddocks – at six-thirty p.m.’ The residents of Chipping Cleghorn are astonished to read an advert in the local newspaper that a murder will take place this coming Friday at Little Paddocks, the home of Letitia Blacklock. Unable to resist, the group gather at the house at the appointed time, when the lights go out and a gun is fired. Enter Miss Marple, who must unravel a complex series of relationships and events to solve the mystery of the killer... Both Judy Cornwell and Diane Fletcher have distinguished careers spanning over 50 years on stage and screen. Judy Cornwell is probably best known for her much-loved portrayal of Daisy in the hugely successful TV sit-com Keeping Up Appearances, while Diane Fletcher is forever immortalised as Elizabeth Urquhart in House Of Cards. For the past four years HQ Theatres & Hospitality, alongside sister company Qdos Entertainment, has been supporting the Theatres for Theatres appeal, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

If you require easy access to the theatre, we recommend using the Whalebridge car park and entering through the side pod if you are sitting in the stalls or the downstairs wheelchair spaces. If you are sitting in the circle or boxes or coming to the restaurant, we recommend you use Regent Circus car park and enter through the main doors in Theatre Square. Please telephone the Ticket Office on 01793 524481 if you are unsure. Evening rates after 6pm are £1.00 for up to two hours and £2.00 for over two hours at Whalebridge and £1.80 for over two hours at Regent Circus. Please note – parking for patrons with blue badges remain available adjacent to the Wyvern in Regent Close car park.
