‘David Grindley’s superb production – arouses emotions that go too deep for words’ Daily Telegraph
Based on the author’s own experience of the Front and life in the trenches, it celebrates humour and courage in the face of certain tragedy, and remains an important reminder of the horrors of war and the real, unromanticised heroes who fought it. As our young men continue to fight and die for their country in foreign fields, this tale of ordinary men facing extraordinary circumstances exposes the impact of war past and present and why in remembrance their sacrifices cannot be forgotten.

Matinees as they should be…
Harry Hill – Livin the Dreem!
Audiences can relive the spirit of the 1940s in a wonderful afternoon performance of ‘Hits from the Blitz’, with lots of sing-a-long tunes that will bring back warm memories.
Dylan Moran star of Black Books, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy Run is about to spread a little happiness with a brand new tour for 2011.
The celebration show pays tribute to the legendary stars of the war years, Vera Lynn, Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, George Formby, Bing Crosby, and famous comedians, Max Miller and Tessie O’Shea.
Ageing, religion, kids, relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly ‘Moranesque’ brush strokes and all delivered with Dylan’s renowned, shambolic charm… It’s simply unmissable.

One of the nation's favourite comedians, and host of TV Burp, introduces his hilarious and unique spoof memoir. His frank, frolicsome, and controversial diary details one hectic year in the eye of the showbiz storm. Follow the near fatal goings-on during filming of Britain's Most Dangerous Roads, tales of his dog's on-going battle with the bottle, and Harry’s attempts to become a judge on X Factor.
Smokescreens and Castles Fresh from a busy year filming his own BBC2 comedy series, The Stephen K Amos Show, Stephen is back in Swindon with more melt-inthe-middle, heartfelt humour to warm the very cockles of your heart. Laughter really is the best medicine and the Doctor will see you now!
‘Amos is dynamite’ The Guardian Tickets £18.50 £2.00 booking fee per ticket
Seth’s live show, as with everything else he does, takes the established folk orthodoxy and turns it on its head. The spirit of the rock band meets the timeless and heartfelt subject matter of the folk tale in a blur of fiddle, acoustic guitar and foot-stomping rhythms, with Seth’s unmistakable vocals riding the wave. This is one of his rare and intimate seated gigs with no support.

Actors, crews and directors, along with their families and supporters, will be coming from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each team will be performing a play which has already proved a winner at home. They’re all coming to the Wyvern Theatre, where this year’s British Final Festival of One-Act Plays is being held. It’s not just drama though, you can expect comedy too, or farce. And for anyone who’s not sure if they ‘like’ theatre, an event like Best of British Drama is a great way to find out! Each play is no longer than 55 minutes!

Abba Forever
Welcome to Wherever I Am
Live in Concert
Direct from London’s West End, tantalising yet tasteful, camp and colourful. Elegant showgirls combine Parisian charm with Las Vegas glamour. Marrying live vocal talent with the art of burlesque – comedy, magic and vocal harmony combine with couture costumes, breathtaking choreography, a fabulous score and even virtuoso classical piano performances.
A truly hilarious evening with one of the UK’s most innovative comedians. For the last ten years, since his multiaward winning international TV hit, Trigger Happy TV, Dom Joly has led the most extraordinary of lives. In this laugh-out-loud show, Dom talks us through the perils of travelling the world drinking, skiing down volcanoes, holidaying in Chernobyl and North Korea, becoming a paparazzo and eating from Gillian McKeith’s pants while imprisoned in the Australian jungle.
