Forget that avocado from the 70’s, today’s hottest shade for the kitchen is emerald green. Combine two tones for a colour on colour splash. Dark, heavy grain wood or marble will give a luxe feel to the room.

Mixing metals is hot for 2023, providing an eclectic, ‘more is more’ finish to the kitchen, to create a sense of vibrancy. Brass is a perennial favourite for fixtures, because it goes well with a variety of colour schemes. Consider mixing in bronze, copper, stainless or blackened steel for a swish look.
