I a m a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln‘s college of architecture with a Bachelor’s of Science in Design with an emphasis in Interior Design. I am always keeping myself busy with new creative projects. I have been called a daydreamer since I was young and I have always had an intense curiosity to understand how and why things work. This curiosity has led me down many paths in my life, but interior design has proved to be the most fulfilling. I find it to be a perfect balance of analysis and creativity.

1 ICESILO RESEARCH & EDUCATION CENTER
4 th Year Fall 2022
The ICEsilo Research and Education Center is building that houses three major programs designed to support the vital environmental research done within the WWII decommissioned Atlas-F missile silo located outside of Seward, Nebraska. The missile silo will hold a 150 foot segmented ice core that was developed to mirror the assorted layers of ancient glaciers in the ice cap. The purpose of drilling in the middle of the Midwest is to utilize the pre-existing silos due to their immense depth and thick concrete walls. The concrete and depth allow the drills to be tested in a temperature controlled environment so
maintenance and adjustments can be made away from feezing condiions. The secondary portion of the building is an education center designed to house various collegiate programs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The third and deepest legs of the building is the museum portion of the building. The museum houses a geology exhibit, an exhibit on the original use of the silo in WWII and an exhibit about the ice core drilling. The museum path walks visitors through the original launch control center and a platform within the silo so visitors can see the ice collumn.

2 SOAK STEAM DREAM
For the space I created, I designed the entrance to stand out from the old rectilinear facade. To do this I brought the angular language from the inside out. When entering the space, the only circulation path that can be taken is up the stairs to the second gathering area. From there I used a combination of meandering and

radial circulation to organize the spaces. The ground floor is primarily lit by the skylight above the north end of the lap pool and adjacent windows. I wanted to make that corner the focal point of the space so every space responds to the pools angle.

Chris Witherspoon is the president & chief growth officer at DNA, an advertising firm in the Greater Seattle Area. DNA works with many local creatives to showcase their businesses with bright and vibrant imagery. Because DNA’s branding is so eclectic, I wanted to reflect their visual language with a more formal and subdued environment. With remote-learning and working becoming the new norm, hybrid workspaces are in high demand.
Restlessness is inevitable while stuck at home, which is why it is vital to have a place of reprieve. By dividing the space using casework, it creates an open and airy space, while still maintaining privacy.

6 FREELANCE ARTWORK
For the past four years, I have taken on multiple art commissions to help support my education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before college I was heavily involved in the art program at my high school. While attending Pius X High school, I worked closely with our art teacher in our high schools art club and had the opportunity to take multiple independent study classes, where I had the freedom to work with any medium. Art has always been a passion of mine and is one of the core reasons I chose to study Interior Design.
