chockalingam’s office
A small office of three floors and built up area of 3500sft at Coimbatore. This is a finance office which deals with lots of documents. The client is not ready to shift to digital documents so enormous amounts of storage space are required. Hence, the scope of furniture design in this project is vast.
experimental lamp
This is an experiment for myself to get a grasp of the practical issues of making a working object. Lamp offers a good balance of design and technology so i choose to make a lamp and partly because of my need for a reading lamp.
Lyne storage System Versatile storage system composed of standardized boxes and catering to virtually any day to day storage and display requirements.

Lyne desking System At the initial stages of the design development, people came with a requirement of an office or a serious study solution. So, there was a need to design a system which caters to the need fo those people and goes beyond simply satisfying the requirement.
This desking system is designed to be re-purposable and also keeping in mind the ease for transportation.

Sailor’s bed As opposed to the Writer’s bed, here is a deliberate use of wood and metal combination. The use of metal is on parts to reduce the amount of wood needed and parts to create a bed which speaks differently from the rest of our creations.

Headboard height adjustable by 50mm for 8 and 6 mattress

experimental reading lamp I have created this project to experience how it feels to make things with ones own hand and learn the complications of execution of a design. The design is done so that it can be executed with normal household tools like a cutter and glue.
