What is HAP? The Jesuit Higher Achievement Program at Xavier provides a FREE five-week enrichment program for rising 8th graders who excel academically, have leadership potential, and are open to growth. HAP incorporates math, critical reading, writing, science, art, and technology classes with athletics, electives, and field trips throughout New York City. HAP provides young men with a feel for the opportunities of a college preparatory school like Xavier. The majority of HAP faculty are teachers at Xavier or other Jesuit schools, and many are Xavier alumni.
