MIXED CREATURES Hypo-Griffin: A hippogriff is a hybrid imaginary creature. Appearance: Half horse, half eagle, which resembles a winged horse's body and the head of an eagle. Maybe, this fabulous beast comes from the Persians and their Simurgh, a benevolent, mythical flying creature.

Centaur: It is a mythological creature with the head, arms, and torso of a a human and the body and legs of a horse. This half-human and half-horse composition has led many writers to treat them as liminal beings, caught between the two natures, embodied in contrasted myths, both as the embodiment of untamed nature, as in their battle with the Lapiths (their kin), or conversely as teachers, like Chiron and Achiles.

Minotaur: Was a creature with the head of a bull on the body of a man or, as described by Roman poet Ovid, "part man and part bull". He dwelt at the center of the Labyrinth, which was an elaborate maze-like construction designed by the architect Daedalus and his son Icarus, on the command of King Minos of Crete. The Minotaur was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus.
