It’s the only exit way of Youdu. Foing across the river simply means going to the next life. Only the souls without guilty can have reincarnation. Under the water, there is a place where the guilty soul are being punished. Abyss bridge stand across the river. The fire on the bridge never extinguish. They direct the souls the way to the next life. The souls that go across the bridge forget about everything about their previous life.

The deity in this section is called ferryman. He holds a lantern all the time and the fire in that lantern can direct the souls. He is actually another protagonist of the game. After a series of adventure, lady meng finds that the Ferryman is the person that is calling her. He is not god at first, like other deities in the underworld. He used to be human. He fell in love with lady ment when he is ready for the next life. That violent the law in Youdu. He got punished for thousands of years. Because he has wandered in Youdo for too long, he is given the job to lead the souls. He is always waiting the protagonist. He doesn’t want to forget about her and just wanna meet her again and agian.
