Worked together with 2 other designers for 6 months, from the design phase till the finish of the construction. Roles and responsibilities including conceptual design and idea analysis as branding strategy for the client. Cooperated with local contractor in an agile environment to provide construction document for construction. Contacted local supplier and furniture maker for pricing and negotiating according to the client’s enquired budget. Speculated and documented the site during the construction process. MICHAEL GRAVES ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN, USA (1 YEAR) APR 2014 - APR 2015 Client: Jiangsu Zhong Nan Group Co., LTD; Singapore DP Architects. Worked directly with principal as project manager for 3 master planning projects in China. Main role is to regular communicating with the client on behalf of the office, including international telecom together with DPA, Singapore in Eco-tourist master plan project in Qingdao. Responsibilities including preparing presentation on a monthly base, as well as distributing the work load and organizing the team internally to produce and meet the deadlines. Other responsibilities including international business trip to China to present in the client meeting. Worked as a designer alongside senior designer within a design studio environment. Roles and responsibilities including developing design concepts and analysis by producing deliverables including drawings, renderings and diagrams using Rhino, Adobe suite etc.; participating in workshops by cooperating with other offices as a team, achieved and gained better organisation and technical skills in mix-used residential projects; discussing and reviewing deliverables.
