Week 7ďźš Case Study 0.2 Spanish Pavilion Reverse Engineering
1 Create a 2*3 hexagonal grid and use Discontinuity to determine the end points and side curves.
2 Re-organized the coordniates of common points(three points in the middle) to create irregular hexagonal. Then multiply the hexagonal grid in X/Y axis.
Hollow tiles by inversiing Offset. Use negetive slider to offset the hexagonal grid inward.

3 Lofe inner and outer hexagonal grids and use Cap holes to create solid.
Extract Difference between inner hexagonal solid and outer hexgonal solid and make surface.
6 Colouring of tiles was a challenge becasue the patterning was form base on primary hexagonal grid(2*3 grid). So the pattern was rendened by using Set Render Colour in Rhino.

Grasshopper Definition
-Two curves with divided points, loft to make surface and then extrude to soild platform.
-Move divided points and rotate in certain direction to create structure edge
-Polyline connects each point to create enclose curves and form a primary structure
-Make line to pipes to create soild strips.
-Lofting stips to creaet surface, then divided and flip matrix to make surface into grid
-Connect each point to create surface mesh through using polyline。
