about me Hi. My name is Lai Xin Qi studying Diploma in Architecture Studies currently in Semester 4 in UCSI University. The following contents are displaying my Architecture Design Studio 2 Project which is the dwelling design with our client from IKEA Foundation. The dwelling is designed based on the theme that I have chosen.


From task 3A, I have developed my design intention for my site, building typology, and client and user. These design intention will help me to develop my design concept for my dwelling design which the client is IKEA Foundation and the theme I have chosen among the others from IKEA Foundation is Agriculture Livelihoods. From task 3B, I have studied the anthropometry of a human scale and determined the space criteria matrix including special spaces which relate to the theme of "Agriculture Livelihoods" and bubble diagram. From there I have developed my design from floor plan to elevation, elevation to section, and finally a 3D model.
