ASA’s education relies heavily on hands-on training. Therefore, one of the three-credit courses is externship. That means that you will be assigned to one of three leading entitles in New York: hospitals, banks, insureance companiesand many others. In addition to externship you will cover additional four courses for a total fifteen credits accumulation for you last semester at ASA. ASA College has also prepared for you an exiting cultural program which includes but is not limited to going to museums, Broadway theaters, a bus information tour around New York, food tasting from the best New York restaurants and much more. Additionally, tours to Washington, DC, Baltimore and Boston will be offered, all at discounted prices ana ASA will pay 50% of cultural activities organized by ASA College.

Benefits of a joined ASA College & TUIT Program

How do I enroll into this joint programm of ASA College and TUIT

Joining and graduating from the joint program, you will earn two degree - an American college degree and a diploma from TUIT at practically the same time. You will also tremendously improve your English organize skills and will have a hands-on experiense of working for one of New York’s leading companies. All these will give you a much better training and potential to have a prestigiouse job position!

To enroll into ASA College and TUIT joint program you have to apply at ASA College Educational and Cultural Center located at Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT). After you fill out an application you will take a placement test which will determine youe English language skills to undertake the degree portion of the joint program. The ASA ESL placement exam wil determine your skill level from A though E, with E being highest level. You can start the credit accumulation portion of the program if you ESL level is at least a D. If you ESL level is below D you have to enroll into the ESL portion of the program.

It will take three semesters for level A students two semesters for level B students and one semester for level C students to reach level D. Thereafter, you can start you degree portion of the joint program.

ASA College is accredited by Middle State Comission on Higher Education and authorised by the New York State Board of Regents to confer Associate of Occupational Studies and Associate in Applied Science degrees. All degree and certificate programs are registerd by the State Education Department. ASA College programs such as Network Administration and Computer Programming and Information Technology are smoothly embedded into similar TUIT programs. The objective of such joint program is for studens who enroll into the program to graduate with two degrees/ diplomas (Degree from ASA College + Diplomafrom TUIT). As an added benefit, students who enroll into the programwill be able to travel to New York and study for four month to complete the degree requirmens at ASA College.

How doescredit accumulation work toward getting a college degree In the USA various college degree are earned based on the number of credits accumulated. For every course that you successfully complete, you earn a certain number of credits. You earn your credits for ASA College program in the following ways: 1 - Credits will be transferred between TUIT and ASA on a course-tocoursebasis for similar courses.

2 - Credits could be earned through the Distance Learning format for spe cific ASA courses.

3 - Remaining credits will be earned when you come to New York and study at ASA College for one semester and complete your course of study here at ASA College.To get an AOS degree in Computer Programming and Information Technologies you have to earn 64 credits and for the AOS in Network Administration you will nee 61 credits.
