Xmas Project Association, born in 2001 in Milan, with the aim of financing a charitable “microproject” somewhere in the world each Christmas. The Xmas Project idea (and its book as well) came about from the desire to avoid wasting money at Christmas by giving people an alternative to buying the usual useless presents. A book is always a useful present: even more so when it becomes a means to creating something useful. The centre pages of our Xmas project book always feature contributions (articles/photographs/images/poems) from all those who want to participate in the project and leave their mark. The book becomes a means of expressing their ideas and brings together the people who support the project by buying and giving the book as a Christmas present.
