CROSS COUNTRY MOTORCYCLE AND QUAD CHAMPIONSHIP
COMMITED TO THE FUTURE SANORA the administrators of the Donaldson Cross Country Motor Racing Championship have entered into a partnership with Motorsport South Africa (MSA) to organise and manage the South African National Off-Road Motorcycle and Quad Championship in an exciting innovative manner which once again brings the two Championships together. This partnership will see both championships share common race venues at three of the five rounds during the 2016 season and kicks off with the opening round in Vryburg on 1 and 2 April 2016. SANORA’s research revealed by running the two championships side by side provided an enhanced show with greater sponsor and spectator appeal and strengthened the economic impact on communities where events take place. Two separate national championships running concurrently, sharing organisational costs and resources, is also good commercial logic for all the stakeholders and competitors. SANORA recognise the adventurous nature of competitors in our sport and will go that extra mile to create exciting events where everyone can have fun in a safe and fair environment. To further align the two championships and in keeping with international standards the championship will in future be known as the South African National Cross Country Motorcycle and Quad Championship.
