SAINTS INVADE D.C. Obama Inauguration

Xavier’s little politicians made a trip to the Capital for the Presidential Inauguration. The Saints spiced up D.C. by doing the “roller coaster” on the steps of the Lincoln Monument. Memories were made and history was honored throughout the trip.

“I didn’t think there would be as many people visiting the monuments, and when I saw the crowd at the inauguration, I was totally surprised. It was cool that so many people had come together for one purpose.”

“All the memorials we visited were powerful, especially the MLK memorial because it had his MLK quotes on a wall next to the monument. I didn’t realize how great of an asset he was to our country until then.”

“We liked hanging out with Nicole, a girl we met while she was dancing at the ice rink, visiting the Lincoln Memorial at night and hanging out in our cray room every night.”
