huge number of demonstrators from around KwaDukuza joined in the national 'Save SA/Black Friday' march which was aimed at forcing President Jacob Zuma to resign on Friday, 07 April 2017. The march was also staged in various parts of the country such as Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town to mention a few. Scores of protestors took to the streets of Ballito with placards saying 'Zuma Must Go' and chanting that the president must resign. Among their grievances, the protestors were outcrying about the state capture saga which has clouded Jacob Zuma's presidency for years. The protestors demanded that the president must give back South Africa to the people. The outbreak of these mass marches came after the president's decision to reshuffle the cabinet and most notably replacing finance minister Pravin Gordhan with Malusi Gigaba. Since then South Africa was downgraded by rating agencies to 'Junk Status'. Following the downgrade, there has been an aura of unrest with many opposition parties and concerned groups lamenting the decisions made by the president. Elsewhere in the country, there were other protestors who took to the streets citing the same reasons and calling for the president to resign. The president responded to some of the claims made by the marchers on Monday, 10 April 2017 when he delivered his address at the Chris Hani memorial. Zuma used the platform to lament the chants and words used by the marchers saying they perpetuate racism. “Many placards and posters displayed beliefs we thought had been buried in 1994, with some posters depicting black people as baboons. ANC takes ‘counter march’ to Ballito By Xpress Reporter
The African National Congress in Greater KwaDukuza Region embarked on a 'counter march' against local demonstrators in favour of the 'Shut down South Africa' or 'Black Friday' national campaign on Friday, 07 April 2017. The march started at Shakashead Sportsfield, KwaDukuza and finished in Ballito Junction Mall open field. As a build up to this march the ANC urged the public to refrain from participating in the Shut Down South Africa campaign citing that it is organized by the opposition parties and other counterrevolutionary forces. “We believe that the strategy to shut-down South Africa won't solve anything but it's a drive to exploit poor and needy citizens who make up the majority of the population. As we march to Ballito, we wish to sound the call on radical economic transformation and to defend ANC leaders who are deployed in government to improve lives of our citizens,” said the ANC through a statement by Regional Spokesperson Lucky Makhathini.
Apart from being just a counter march, the ANC also used this march as a campaign to address issues such as the exclusion of the working class in the mainstream economy, investment of money in township and rural communities and the amendment of Section 25 of the Constitution, to expropriate land without compensation. Furthermore, the ANC also used this march to campaign for the nationalisation of mines and banks towards the realisation of the Freedom Charter, the centralisation of wealth by monopolycapitalists who exploit the working class, recruitment of workers through labor brokers and the creation of decent jobs for local people, especially African youth and female. The protesters, led by the ANC leadership initially wanted to take the march to Ballito Drive and into Compensation Beach Road but were refused entry thus forcing them to stop by the BP garage where they addressed the crowd. While addressing the crowd, Regional Chairperson of the ANCYL in Greater KwaDukuza Region, Mfanafuthi Ngcobo
said they will continue protecting the ANC and its 'democratically' elected president. “We cannot allow people to tell us what to do, we cannot allow people to say the president who was elected in Mangaung and was elected by the people of South Africa should step down,” further commented Ngcobo who said it is wrong for people to come and claim private properties in the land of their forefathers. This march came after the 'Radical Economic Transformation' march which was organized by the ANCYL in the region on 23 March 2017. RADICAL: ANC posters that were seen all over the country during the counter marches against Shut down SA campaigns.
SACP holds ‘Red Imbizo’ COMRADES: The leadership of the South African Communist Party (SACP) called a 'Red Imbizo' on Sunday, 09 April 2017 which was aimed at addressing issues affecting the SACP and its alliance partners the African National Congress and COSATU. All the views aired on the day will be taken by the leadership to the national conference scheduled for July 2017 in Pretoria.

Significance of Easter The Finished Work of the Crucified Christ
Riyas
It is remarkable to note that the Christian community will be celebrating the Passion of Christ this week. In this Easter weekend Christians all over the world will remember the Death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let's illustrate the finished work of Christ on the Cross. “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, 'It is finished.' With that, he bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30). “When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride.” (Isaac Watts) The cross holds a wonderful attraction to every believer, for it was the work done by our Lord Jesus that offers us the grace of God. Without Christ's work on the cross, there is no Christian faith. When Jesus echoed the words, “It is finished,” he was making an affirmation that He had completed all the work that He planned to accomplish. The words in John 19:30 “It is finished”

is related to the Greek verb teleo, which means to complete an activity or process, bring to an end, finish, or complete something. It is however important to note the tense of this verb; which is in the perfect tense and translates into the Greek word tetelestai. In Greek the perfect tense signifies a past action, the effect of which
that “While we were still sinners Christ died for us.” He has come to 'seek and to save them that are lost' (Luke 19:10). When Jesus died on the cross, He met every righteous demand of God's law and paid our debts in full. Dear friends if you are facing overwhelming odds; remember Jesus promises, “It is finished!” You are not going to be delivered because you have already been delivered. You are not going to be healed because you are already healed! Christ has paid the price on the cross some 2000 years ago and therefore completed your healing. This Easter remember… The P o w e r o f t h e Blood…Declares… It is finished! Submitted by: Pastor Moses Pillay Stanger Baptist Church
continues into the present. It has been completed and is still complete. The effect of the tense in this verb is a sense of finality. This allows us to understand that on the cross Christ completed His work of salvation and it has been completed once for all. In Romans 5:8 the Bible declares

I will be reciting will be blended with a theatrical performance by a group of young and talented actors and actresses. People should expect an amazing performance from this first of its kind experience” said Zungu. Speaking of the motive behind staging such an event, Zungu who also had a brief stint on a popular soap opera Isibaya said, “I wanted to do something different for a change and something that I have never done before. I took drama lessons to strengthen my poetry and it has worked, that's when I realized that the two works well together and then I decided to do something of this kind” In relation to the preparations and readiness, the award winning poet said her team is well prepared to take to the stage and being the first woman in KwaZulu-Natal to do a one woman poetry show has not put too much pressure on her. “I have a team that I work with in Edgewood and they are playing a huge role, friends and family have been really supportive and promoting the event and the waterson media company and my manager as well as my fans have all played a huge role. Tickets for the event are available on 0730949593
Simangele Zungu (24) , a local poet, actor and playwright born and bred on the outskirts of Mandeni in an area called Macambini is adamant that her recent endeavor in the industry will change the way people see poetry and is promising that people should expect an amazing experience of poetry mixed with theatrical performances. What & Who made Kathrada? Bimillah Rahmanir Raheem ( I begin in the name of God (Allah) the most gracious, the Most Merciful, the dispenser of Grace) God (Allah) He himself says in Holy Qur'an “most certainly (O Mohammed) (SAW) (“saw” means peace be upon him) you have the most sublime personality and character” In this age and time when Mohammed(SAW) is the most topical subject of discussion demonization and denigration, it is about time we put Mohammed(SAW) in the spotlight for ourselves and humanity at large to convince ourselves whether the above quoted lines of the Qur'an have stood the test of time and criticism. In 1857 Lamartine who is accepted by his French compatriots as a great literary figure according to Britannica Online Encyclopaedia, among his unequalled work in history in Historie de Turquie (History of the Turks). In this unequalled discourse he writes about Mohammed(SAW).” If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astonishing results are the three criteria a human genius, who could dare compare any great man in history with Mohammed(SAW)” He founded upon a book, of which each letter has become law, a spiritual nation embracing people of all languages and races; and made an indelible imprint upon Muslim nation, for the hatred of false gods and the passion for the God, One Immaterial.
terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire: that is Mohammed (SAW). As regards all the standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask” IS THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN HE?”
to play an important role in human history down to the present day. It is unparallel combination secular and religious influence which I feel entitles Mohammed(SAW) to be considered the most influential single figure in human history.
Lamartine,Historie de la Turquie,Paris 1854,Vol 11 pp276-277
Coming back to Lamartine who believe that the most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislations, empires, people and dynasties, but millions of men in onethird of the inhabited world; and more than that he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls.
It is Lamartine perhaps who is one France's greatest literary personalities, who has challenged all peoples of his times and his assessment and evaluation of Mohammed(SAW) has indeed closed the doors for all future aspirants to true greatness up to this day. In July 1974 the “Time Magazine” had its main feature “Who are the Leaders”, people cited different personalities of the human race from Alexander to Mao, but Jules Wassermann, a psychoanalyst, logically asserted the following: Leaders must fulfil three functions: 1) Provide for the well-being of the lead. 2) Provide a social organization in which people feel relatively secure. 3) Provide them with one set of beliefs. People like Pasteur and Salik are leaders in the first sense.
Never has a man accomplished in such a short time such an immense and long lasting revolution in this world, since less than two centuries after his predication, Islam, preaching and armed, ruled over three Arabia's, and conquered to God's unity Persia, the Khorosan, Transoxania, Western India, Syria, Egypt, Ethiopia, and all the known continent of Southern Africa, many islands of the Mediterranean, Spain and part of Gaul. Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images, founder of twenty
Michael M Hart in his first print “The 100” in 1978 placed Marx number 11, Lenin number 15 and Mao number 20.After 14 years in his second print, he places Marx number 27, Lenin as 84 and Mao 89. Persons
1st print (1978) Mohammed (SAW) Marx 11 Lenin 15 Mao 20
2nd print (1992) 1 1 27 84 89
Yes within 14 years of assessment of the three communist leaders he changes his opinion drastically because of the facts before him, but after more than 1400 years Mohammed(SAW) remains number 1.
The most famous men created arms, laws, and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislation, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than he moved altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, and beliefs and souls. His forbearance in victory, his ambition which was entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire, his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death all these attest not to an imposture, but to a firm conviction, which gave him the power to restore a dogma. This dogma was twofold: the unity of God and the immateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter telling God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with the words.
In the light of the above assertion of La Martine we find leaders of the greatest revolution after Mohammed(SAW) the socialist and communist crumbled away before their eyes.
Now we can imagine what secularist and atheists in France and Europe are up against when Mohammed(SAW) is the standard of spirituality and morality according to divine principals. The sensible thing for them to do is to disprove the facts presented by Lamartine. Instead we find falsehood being heaped on Mohammed(SAW) for centuries so much so that he stands out to be the most maligned and demonised human being in all history.
People like Ghandi and Confucius, on the one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third sense. PERHAPS THE GREATEST L E A D E R O F A L L T I M E S WA S MOHAMMED (SAW), WHO COMBINED ALL THREE FUNCTIONS. In 1978 Michael H Hart in his “The 100, a ranking of the most influential persons in history” places Mohammed(SAW) as the number one of his “100”.After intensive study of Mohammed(SAW) at all levels he gives his conclusive judgement. On the purely religious level, then, it seems likely that Mohammed(SAW) has been as influential in human history as Jesus. Furthermore, Mohammed(SAW) unlike Jesus was a secular as well as a religious leader, In fact, as the driving force behind the Arab conquests, he may well rank as the most influential political leader of all time. We see, then, that the Arab conquest of the seventh century have continued
On may 8th 1840 Thomas Carlyle a famous Englishman, after studying the life of Mohammed(SAW) delivered his lecture on the Hero Prophet kin which he articulated the following: Our current hypothesis about Mahomet(SAW), that he was a scheming imposter, a falsehood incarnate, that his religion is a mere mass quackery and fatuity, begins really to be now untenable to anyone. The lies, which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man, are disgraceful to ourselves only. When Pococke inquired of Grotius, where the proof was of that story of the pigeon, trained to pick peas from Mahomet's ear, and pass an angel dictating to him? Grotius answered that there was no proof! How much more convincing does any human being need to have to prove that their fellow human being Mohammed(SAW) is the greatest human being. Now those who deny GOD among the human race have to admit the greatest representative of their says” I surrender to (God) ALLAH, Lord, Cherisher, Evolver of the entire creation.”

Leicester sign next ‘Jamie Vardy’ Leicester could just have landed the new Jamie Vardy after they acquired the services of Josh Gordon from non-league side Stafford Rangers. Vardy went from rags to riches following his move from Fleetwood Town in 2012, going on to win the Championship in 2014 before firing the Foxes to the Premier League title against all odds last season. The England international is now mixing it with Europe's elite in the UEFA Champions League, having spent the first five years of his career in the lower leagues of English football with Stocksbridge Park Steels,

Halifax Town and Fleetwood. The East Midlands club will be hoping for a similar impact from Gordon, who has scored 18 goals for Rangers in the seventh tier this term. The 22-year-old earned himself an 18-month deal at the King Power Stadium following a successful trial with Craig Shakespeare's side. "I am delighted to finally announce that I have officially signed for the English champions Leicester City," Gordon wrote on Facebook. Sundowner Darts Club defeat Strini Motors Trophies Engravers
In the Trophies Engravers KwaDukuza Darts Association league game played last Wednesday drew a huge turnout at the Quartz Sports Bar to witness the league challenge between Sundowner and Strini Motors. Sundowner Darts club members Darrel Shanmagum, Len Naidoo, Neeran Somnath, Terrence Subban, Bradley Majid and Wesley Pillay made a clear sweep to outplay new comers Strini Motors Darts Club. Sundowner D.C won the first 3 team games 1001. In the doubles game Darrel and Neeran beat Meersingh and Asogan to make the scores to 4-2. Ajen Singh and Leon Moonsamy beat Len and Terrence to give Strini
Motors some hope. With a lead of 4-2 Darrel won the first singles game in favour of Sundowner D.C. Asogan Lutsumanan beat Neeran Somnath to make the score 53. Len Naidoo beat Ajen to give the Sundowner lads a 63 lead. Leon Moonsamy beat Terrece Subban to make the score 6-3. The Sundowner Darts club sits at the summit of the table at the moment. In other games played on the night Darnall United beat Neelan's Auto 'B' 5-4 in a close game. Neelan's Auto suffered a severe blow from the high riding team Nevil's Auto 8-1. Sanjay Singh notched up a 180 (three triple 20) to put himself in 180 cup draw to be played later this year.
now." Meanwhile former Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri insisted that his sacking only a few months after guiding unfashionable Leicester to the unlikeliest of Premier League title wins was not orchestrated by the players. The avuncular 65-year-old Italian - who took over from Nigel Pearson for the 2015/16 campaign tasked with preserving their elite status - told Sky Sports in his first interview since being fired there was someone within the club who maneuvered to have him sacked.
