Mayor meets with religious leaders K

waDukuza Municipality Mayor, Councillor Ricardo Mthembu engaged in a bilateral meeting with religious leaders, which was intended to improve cooperation between religious structures and the Council as well as discuss support mechanisms. His Worship unpacked the need for such a meeting by alluding to the anointed that pillars of society must work together in order to build a united community that is rapidly responsive and/or proactive in dealing with issues that affect the constituencies they all lead. In addition, Mthembu condemned the incident that occurred at the Ballito Junction Mall on Wednesday, 18 October 2017 where a young woman is believed to have been killed by her lover at the mall's ablution facility. Furthermore, the first resident requested for a change in mindset in the congregations that say they do not want to associate with the Municipality because they deem it political and not in any way related to the word. His Excellency said, “We are all leaders, we need to work together,

though we come from different backgrounds collectively the information and experiences we have can help all of us in dealing with issues that confront us.” Mthembu told the religious leaders that the municipality desires to work with them and support their programmes, however, a clear programme needed to be worked out so that there is transparency on who is supported and to what extent. “We want to work with you, we want to support your programmes, because your role in society is of paramount importance,” concluded Mthembu. The meeting resolved that religious organisations are:

iLembe Cluster Task Team and Nsuze police members conducted an operation within their policing precinct to eliminate drug trade, drug use and eradicate the proliferation of illegal firearms in the area on 20 October 2017. Four suspects aged between 26 and 33 appeared in the Maphumulo Magistrate's Court for possession of drugs, dealing in drugs, possession of unlicensed firearm and pointing of a firearm. According to KZN SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele, police received information about a 29-year-old man suspected to be dealing in drugs in the Bhamshela area. “The police proceeded to the said place and found plastic straws containing substance suspected to be drugs, another 26-year-old man who was also at the place was searched and found with mandrax tablets. ANCYL garners support for La Maine ‘dog victim’ By Xpress Reporter

A week ago, several media outlets published a story about Khulekani Mthembu, a security guard who was allegedly killed by his employer's three Rottweilers while on duty. Following the incident, the African National Congress Youth League under Greater KwaDukuza Region has come out in support of the victim and his family citing that they are shocked and enraged at the inhumane and barbaric treatment against the family of the deceased by the owners of La Maine stable yards after their hounds attacked him. The owners of the dogs allegedly offered Mthembu's family R5000 to sympathise with them, this has been dubbed a meaningless compensation by the youth wing. “No amount of excuse can explain the offering of a mere R5000 for a life

of a human being lost forever. The ANCYL is convinced that the family of the deceased should be offered with meaningful compensation,” said the ANCYL through regional secretary, Musa Zondi. “This is a barefaced callousness of a people who value other people as sub-human. Is it coincidental that the owners of the dogs happen to be white whilst the deceased is of black origins? The ANCYL has repeatedly insisted that whilst the rest of the country is making advances in transforming race relations there remains a few enclaves wherein being black is a condemnation to poverty, harassment, denial of basic human rights. “Of course, the benefactors of this refashioned racism will opportunistically accuse us of drawing a race card; a lousy argument we shall not entertain given their

Matric students urged to donate uniforms By Xpress Reporter

Scores of students from schools around KwaDukuza took part in the Interfaith Mass prayer held at Stanger High Sports Grounds on Wednesday, 18 October 2017. The prayer was hosted by KwaDukuza Municipality with the support of various stakeholders with the aim of motivating the Class of 2017 ahead of their year-end examinations. The prayer was also used as a platform for stakeholders to engage the class of 2017 on issues relating to their success and tips on how to approach the forthcoming examinations, with all messages bordering keenness towards studying and allocating sufficient time towards studying. Among those in attendance were religious leaders, non-profit organisations, civil society organisations, South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO), Grade 12 learners, councillors, parents and various tertiary institutions.

Also in attendance was Councillor John Phahla who urged students to donate their uniforms after their last paper. “Please do not tear your uniforms after your last papers, or stain them with markers and paints. Give them to us, we will wash them and put them to good use by giving them to those who are less fortunate. We are faced with a painful reality that some of our peers including our close friends attend school dressed in torn uniforms. Let us change this by giving those that will still be in school.” ILembe District Municipality was the lowest performing district in KwaZulu-Natal in 2016 with a pass rate of 52.42 per cent. The province as a whole saw nine schools with a zero per cent pass rate. CARING: Honourable guests that imparted their knowledge with students during the mass prayer among which is KwaDukuza Municipality Mayor, Ricardo Mthembu and his Deputy, Councillor Dolly Govender

According to reports, the boyfriend slit the woman's throat with a knife and she succumbed to her injury on the spot. KwaZulu Natal SAPS spokesperson Thembeka Mbhele said the knife wielding boyfriend will appear in court soon. “A case of murder was opened at Umhlali police station after a 32-year-old woman was stabbed to death at

Ballito Junction yesterday at about 17h00. A 30-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in court soon. The motive for her killing is unknown.” The mall's management team has since passed their condolences to the family and friends of the victim. Managing Director, Kathryn Payton said the care and concerns expressed by the public and the tenants of the Ballito Junction Mall is uplifting and heartwarming. “The owners and management of Ballito Junction Regional Mall extend their heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim, her loved ones and

All praise is due to GOD ALMIGHTY who has blessed man with the infinite capacity to learn and may His choicest salutation continue to descend upon our Master who's live personified true commitment and dedication. We are fast approaching the days where our matric learners sit for their final examinations. Matric is undoubtedly an important milestone which serves as the harbinger of all their future educational pursuits. The days leading up to the exams are often fraught with extreme levels of stress and anxiety. Matric exams are probably the most crucial and vital examinations that you will ever write since they eventually determine your lifelong career options. It is therefore vital to manage this stress by turning to GOD ALMIGHTY and begging

for His mercy and guidance. Remember: “Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.” Therefore regard the coming examinations as an opportunity to test your commitment and drive. “An ounce of performance is worth pounds of promises” It is now time for action, determination and execution. No problem in life can withstand the assault of continued learning and sustained prayer. Parents and siblings also need to play their role by ensuring that the home environment is conducive to study. The success of your examinations is dependent on effective time management, smart studying techniques, a balanced diet and

regular exercise. As you approach the examination phase, it is worth reflecting on the nature of life itself. Life is but a voyage of tests and tribulations which we need to face with courage and determination. We are continually faced with making tough decisions and choices. It is not difficult to make the right choice if you know what your values are! Stay committed to your values but remain flexible in your approach. “There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with examination. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die is a process of learning.” The team at Xpress Times wish all matriculants every success in the exams and in the near future.

Mandela lambasts ousting of Indians and Coloureds

LEADERS: Mandla Mandela with his grandfather, the late Nelson Mandela.

By Xpress Reporter

The call by KwaZulu-Natal ANC to oust Indians and Coloureds from the BEE tenders worth more than R50 million has been dubbed as 'ill-timed and ill-considered'

by Nelson Mandela's grandson, iNkosi Mandla Mandela. In a statement issued earlier this week Mandela says the call is

“poorly conceived and flies in the face of the

constitutional provision for redress and the ANCs Mangaung Resolution for Radical Economic Transformation for all who were historically disadvantaged.” Mandela further side-lined the call by saying it is a birdbrain scheme, coming barely a week after Forbes released its list of the 20 wealthiest South Africans containing only two Black people (incidentally, both African), with no Black people of any description ranking in the top five. “The proposal flies in the face of the significant contribution that other sectors of the historically disadvantaged have made to

the struggle for freedom, justice and democracy. It comes two weeks after the commemoration of the murder of Imam Abdullah Haron and in the same week that the High Court delivered its verdict that Cde Ahmed Timol was killed by the security branch of the Apartheid State. How insensitive and crass can you get to imply that the sacrifice of the Indian and Coloured communities were somehow lesser.” Mandela also highlighted that the monumental contributions of the likes of Comrades Dullah Omar, Imam Hasan Solomons, Aunty Lizzie Abrahams, Aunty Biebie Dawud, Dulcie

September, Anton Frans, Fatima Meer, Amina Cachalia and many others cannot be regarded as "lesser" contributions than those made by people that apartheid classified as Africans. “Calls to exclude people such as these is a denial of who we are and the treacherous road we have traversed and tantamount to myopic revisionism that smacks of ignorance and arrogance of the worst order. We cannot resort to the apartheid colonial tactic of divide and rule of the historically disadvantaged.” Mandela further urged for unity among all those who helped to build this country to what it is today.

Intermediate phase educators capacitated TUTORS: Educators from various schools who were capacitated with various key teaching methods. They are seen with Mr R Rambrij (SES NS & Technology), Dr Z.H Mhlane (DIRECTOR - MST & ICT), Mr M Mazive (Principal of Shekembula High School), Mr M Janak (Principal of Ashville Primary School) and Mr E Masondo (Regional Communication Manager - Sappi)

practical and theoretical knowledge for students in their classes. Among the key sectors that the teachers were capacitated on is the planning and keeping well organised files with all the relevant compliance documents, addressing issues of curriculum implementation, forging a strong bond of a Professional Learning Communities where teachers shared content and methodology, the improvement in the level of assessment through standardised common assessments and empowering educators to use technology in classrooms, through strengthened IT skills and introduction to computerised programmes.

THE

Stanger Khidmat Organisation hosted Little Miss Planet, Yolanda Mthiyane on Saturday, 21 October 2017 at Manor Hall as part of cancer awareness day. Mthiyane was the keynote speaker at the event.

At the well attended AGM of the Stanger Muslim Association (SMA) on Monday, 20 October 2017, a new Shura Council was elected. Some of the founding members remained on board. However it was encouraging to see the keen interest of the younger generation with many being included in the new Shura Council. On Monday, 27 October 2017, the Shura Council elected an Executive Committee (EXCO) to represent the association. The SMA EXCO for 2018 comprises Shain Manjoo (Chairman), Ahmed Mitha (Vice Chairman), Moulana Cassim Xulu (Vice Chairman), Moulana Salman Kajee (Secretary), Yusuf Nakhooda (Treasurer) and Ahmed Desai (PR and Marketing Officer). The newly elected Chairman, Shain Manjoo, thanked the Almighty and fellow members for their vote of confidence. He further stated that the SMA is committed to uplifting and assisting the community irrespective race, colour or creed. “The SMA is a project-driven association and we will strive to identify societal needs and implement projects to meet and fulfill them.”

Cause for concern

Early shoppers

In the wake of the two highly publicised Manor and Glenhills murder, another case of excessive force and violence made its way through the courts last week. Off duty G4S security officer Melvin Naidoo alleges that he was on his way home at about 5pm. He saw two youths engaged in an altercation and went to stop them. During the incident the culprit picked up a piece of concrete and struck Naidoo on the head. His family arrived and transported him to hospital where he was treated and discharged for a 5cm cut to the head. Dayalan Govender (27) also of Glenhills was granted R1000 bail and is due back at court on 16 November 2017.

Suspicion ran high when a customer spent R1737.99 for liquor and airtime at Checkers Hyper at 08h00am on Monday. The customer, in the company of two other youths paid by means of an RCS gift card. The gift card loaded onto the RCS shoprite card was carefully scrutinized by the cashier who noticed that there was a difference with the digits. As he contacted the store manager the buyer realized that the game was up and all three fled. Security managed to overpower the youth and handed him over to police. Zothani Blose (26) of Shakaville has been charged with fraud and is due back at court on 07 December 2017.

Slow down

Bad experience

A former Stangerite, Bruce Lee Madura (41) has paid a hefty price for speeding. Madura pleaded guilty to driving a Bakkie at 173kmph on the N2 at 08h35am on 2 September 2017. The court took into account his personal circumstances and sentenced him to a fine of R20 000 or 12 months imprisonment of which half was suspended for a period of 5 years.

Siyanda Nyathi of Verulam alleges that he was visiting his brother at Ntshawini. Whilst chatting to a friend they were approached by three youths who are known to him. They demanded R50 claiming that he owed them the sum. When he stood up to them they assaulted him with a knife and they removed his wallet with R565 cash and fled. He pointed at two

of his attackers and police arrested Faizel Mpanza (20) and Ndumiso Mngadi (22). Both culprits were granted bail and are due back at court on 07 December 2017.

President Zuma coming to Mandeni

Sick and sad Once again the behaviour of the youth has been placed under the spotlight after two youths appeared in Court on separate charges of sexual crimes. The first incident involved a 13-year old Melville girl attending a local High School. She alleges in detail how a group of girls bunked school on 02 June 2017, purchased alcohol and spent the day at a local beach with girls from various schools and a few boys. After consuming a fair amount of alcohol, she then engaged in sexual acts with one of the drivers who was finally brought to book this week. Bigboy Mbonambi (19) of Happy Valley has been remanded in custody pending a bail consideration. In an unrelated incident another 13-year old from a local primary school and four friends bunked school, purchased liquor and went to a 'house party' in the Glenhills area. She, in her drunk state, decided to engage in a sexual relationship with one of the group whom she met for the first time. Police were alerted and they went to a local car park to arrest the culprit. Zibonele Lungani Zungu (20), also of Glenhills, was remanded in custody pending a bail decision.

World Stroke Day is observed on October 29th and provides an annual opportunity for stroke stakeholders to coordinate awareness and advocacy campaigns and build commitment to reducing the burden of stroke at global, regional and local level. By creating a global platform from which we can speak out, World Stroke Day amplifies our individual voices and brings more people into the conversation

about stroke prevention treatment and support. World Stroke Day highlights the serious nature and high rates of stroke, raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of the condition, and ensure better care and support for survivors. On this day, organizations around the world have facilitated events emphasizing education, testing, and initiatives to improve the damaging effects of stroke worldwide. The annual event was started in 2006 by the World S t r o k e

Organization (WSO) and the WSO declared stroke a public health emergency in 2010. The WSO now has an ongoing campaign that serves as a year-round interface for advocacy, policy, and outreach to support strides and continue progress made on World Stroke Day. Approximately 60 people die every day in our country as a result of strokes. But, the good news is, a stroke doesn't have to be a death sentence. Knowing the signs of a stroke and seeking immediate medical help can improve the outcome of the stroke. The symptoms of

stroke appear suddenly and often there is more than one symptom at the same time. The symptoms of stroke include: • Sudden weakness or numbness in the face, arm or leg on one side of the body • Confusion • Loss of speech, or trouble speaking or understanding speech • Trouble seeing in one or both eyes • Unexplained dizziness • Loss of balance or trouble with walking • Severe or unusual headache • Difficulty swallowing

The crow and the water jug

MN 137/2017

One hot day, a thirsty crow flew all over the fields looking for water. For a long time, she could not find any. She felt very weak, almost giving up hope. Suddenly, she saw a water jug below her. She flew straight down to see if there was any water inside. Yes, she could see some water inside the jug! The crow tried to push her head into the jug. Sadly, she found that the neck of the jug was too narrow. Then she tried to push the jug down for the water to flow out. She found

that the jug was too heavy. The crow thought hard for a while. Then looking around her, she saw some pebbles. She suddenly had a good idea. She started picking up the pebbles one by one, dropping each into the jug. As more and more pebbles filled the jug, the water level kept rising. Soon it was high enough for the crow to drink. Her plan had worked! If you try hard enough, you may soon find an answer to your problem.

Vengo Perfomance Dyno day a huge success What was planned for a few turned out to be KwaDukuza's Biggest Dyno Challenge ever held b y Ve n g o P e r f o r m a n c e . Competitors, spectators and those who walked to Fabweld Complex witnessed the biggest organized Dyno event where all car fanatics went home satisfied and safely. The roads where filled from the R102 going all the way to the entry point of Vengo performance where vehicles that came from as far as Richards Bay to Greytown and coming down from Durban to compete in what was called North vs South. It always had been that the Durban areas have dominated when it came to fast cars but lately at this event the tides have changed. According to the event Coordinator, apart from all the High End an High performance cars that the residents of KwaDukza have in their garages, seen on the road and at shows , KwaDukuza now bolsters two of the fastest cars in South Africa which is owned by Yusuf Khan (Boeta), a BMW M3 which packs a 20B Rotary motor powering the vehicle over a 1000hp to a speed on the 1km at 306km/h and his Opel Kadette which is also the Fastest in South Africa tops out at 311km and this official speed come from a race track in Johannesburg called ODI

where he entered his cars to test on the 1km, only to find out that both won respectively in their categories and the BMW M3 was at the show held over the weekend only to find out that he could put the power to the Dyno (some say). With the cars lined up all the way to Atlas Scrap metal, Liven Govender gave the crowd what they wanted to see on the Dyno from 12:00pm to 12:30am on Sunday morning ensuring that we got results in every category advertised. It was overwhelming to see that this event not only catered for young people but rather I say for all. People over the age of 60 entered their cars and from as young as 18 years who really kept the masses on their feet watching the big screen displaying the Power figures of the competitors vehicles, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Mazda, Chev, Honda, Opel & VW and many more car brands where represented together with car clubs namely Sheldon & his 4450 Car club, Sagren & G Spot Car Club, Afzaal from GT Super Cup and many others at this event in their numbers showing us who's the most powerful at the show. Theo Padayachee who's car was built by Krispan Motors pushing out a power figure of 454.1bhp on the dyno making it the most powerful car of the Day taking 1st overall

position followed by, Malan with his 135i and Alex Naidoo with his Golf 1 doing a 423.3 but he indicated that this Dyno couldn't read his car properly as he is aware that's not the true power of his car but said to wait for the Gas Magazine Dyno Wars (December held at the same venue) where he will prove to be the most powerful Golf 1 on the north coast . At the prize giving ceremony Team Krispan once again scooped many of the awards in various categories and when asked the owner of Krispan Motors for a comment as to how they do it he went on by saying “ever since the arrival of my daughter in the month of May I have slowed down with after hour work putting most of my attention on her as she is my first (not last) however I had been forgetting that this is who I am and my passion for motor mechanic's does get the best of me so a month back we decided to put the team together and start preparing our cars for the event going back to late hours and running around ensuring our cars are fast & powerful but the owners of the cars also show their dedication like Alex who is the owner of our Flagship vehicle a Golf one 16v Turbo which tips the Dyno at just under 400kw does a lot of work at home on

his car which he reaps he benefit of. When asked the owner of Vengo Performance Liven Govender for a comment he responded by saying, he was inspired by his late Brother Pranesh Govender & his Friend Preason Naidoo who gave him the bug of cars which his Mum & Dad (Owners of Fabweld) have supported him throughout his years of racing, car shows and now opening a Performance centre which his passion is Opel. The Dyno situated at my premises is open to all within business hours including Saturday subject to booking, people who wish to do power runs an tune their cars at a nominal fee are more than welcome to approach me to make arrangements for the use and he went on by saying he wishes to Thank all Competitors and Spectators for making this event a great success and to his Friends Ishwar & Owen and all the others who helped him organize and run

the event a big thank you and Braai will follow his thanks. He further told us that events like this are costly but had it not been through the good hearts of our local business men & women staging an event of this nature may have not been possible and also a big thank you to all the sponsors for this event. He appeals to the public that in the first week of December there will be the Gas Magazine Dyno Wars event taking place at Vengo Performance Centre where there will be more categories and prizes to give away and people must come in their numbers to the event as they did in this one (Personal Invite). For those winners who have not collected their awards you can contact Liven Govender on 082 602 2207, they are also most welcome to stop by at Fabweld Engineering. Once again, a big thank you from the Fabweld Family & Friends.

Aiden Markram has quickly shown that he belongs on the international stage, and his knock of 66 on ODI debut against Bangladesh in East London on Sunday was effortless. Cruising along at better than a run ball, Markram then ran himself out looking to get AB de Villiers on strike. He just looks the part with the bat in his hands, and at this early stage it looks like the 23-year-old is set for a long international future with the Proteas. But it was in the field where Markram probably surprised a

few folk as he got through three overs of part-time off-spin to pick up 2/18. Nobody is confusing Markram with Imran Tahir just yet, but the former SA U-19 captain reckons it is something that he wants to focus on moving forward with his career. "It's something I do work on, probably not hard enough. But it's something that I do see myself doing in the future and having a role to play," he told the media in East London on Sunday. "I'm definitely going to keep working hard at it and then hopefully one day it's good

enough to do a job for a side." Batting in the middle-order was also something that Markram is not used to. "I was quite nervous walking out to the middle. Batting No 4 is something that is quite foreign to me," he said. "I thoroughly enjoyed. To make your debut in any format is nice. It's a day I'll certainly remember." Markram has now returned to the Titans where he is taking on the Highveld Lions this week, but he will almost certainly open the batting for South Africa in their four-day floodlit Boxing Day Test.

team. But we need to work on a few things and change it quickly."

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has urged his team-mates to react strongly to the 4-1 defeat they suffered against Tottenham on Sunday. The Reds' defensive problems were laid bare at Wembley Stadium as Harry Kane scored a brace while Son Heung-min and Dele Alli also found the back of the net. Mohamed Salah pulled one back but couldn't inspire a turnaround. Jurgen Klopp's men are now down in ninth position after conceding 16 goals thus far, the most they've let in after nine games since 1964. Henderson believes it's crucial for Liverpool to now respond positively, or else suffer more damaging defeats against their Premier League rivals. "I'm sure a lot of criticism will come our way and deservedly so... we've got to change it quickly, otherwise you lose games and you lose them badly like we did today," he told the BBC. "So we need a reaction quickly, we need to bounce back on the training field and in games, but like I say, I believe we can. "We know there are things to improve and things to change quickly. I've got every faith that we can because we've got a fantastic

It started like a simple stomach ache one day at work. I never minded, took panados but the next day I could not get up as the pain was severe so my husband called an ambulance, but at the hospital I was shocked as doctor’s could not see the problem, they gave me pain blocks which never worked. Things went from good to worse when my legs started swelling and they were heavy if I lifted them. I had been in and out of hospital as well as seeing sangomas but still no change until I met Mama Alisha who treated me for only 3 weeks and I was fine. Oceanville outclass Morningside Xpress

Oceanville B beat Morningside B by 10 runs in a T20 league game played at Gledhow Cricket Oval under the aegis of the iLembe Cricket Union on Saturday. Oceanville won the toss and elected to bat first. The choice to bat first backfired as Sheldon claimed the wickets of both openers with just 10 runs on the score board after 3 overs. With Oceanville now in trouble, Justin Gumtheram and skipper Wayne Naidoo combined to put on a 94 run stand for the 3rd wicket. The partnership was broken by Don Naidoo with Justin caught

for an unlucky 49. Wayne was later out on 33. Oceanville reached a formidable 128/4 in their allotted 20 overs. Sheldon was the pick of the bowlers with 2/21 in 4 overs. Chasing 129 for victory. Morningside openers took their time getting 47 after 9 overs. With the run rate climbing Suveer attempted to hit big shots but Lee Naidoo got the better of him after he was caught by Calvin Pillay. Suveer was next out for 22. New batsmen Sheldon was out in Lee's next over caught by Brandon Moodley. In the 17th over Lavesh Boodram used his

strong arm to run out Fadiel (18) who tried to bring his team back. The batsmen was never in control of the game at any point. Needing 25 runs from the last 2 overs, Don Naidoo started to charge down the bowler only to turn back and find his middle stump uprooted with the damage done by Jemery Naidoo. Lee picked up 2/26 in 4 overs. Shavir Dunarian also supported with 1/18 in 4 overs. Oceanville dedicated this victory to Sana (Meshack) who unfortunately could not play the match due to the passing away of his dad.

Moon and Sons KO underway The Moon and Sons knockout volleyball tournament hosted by KwaDukuza Volleyball Association finally got underway last week after about a month of delays due to the severe weather conditions and unplayable courts. In the premier league division (games played in round robin), Randsons were stunned 25-21, 25-21 by a determined KSST squad. Grove End I had the better of their compatriots Grove End II cruising to a comfortable 25-15, 25-15. Grove End will be favourites to advance into the finals and will be hoping to retain the crown. In the Division I league (games played on a knock out basis) both Prestons and Frendz failed to take the field thus handing Manor Old Boys and Darnall a 25-0, 25-0 victory respectively. The tournament continued on Monday and Tuesday this week but results were unavailable when going to print.

URL SA strives to build nation

The vision of URL SA is striving to build a dynamic nation through sport with communities by creating unity, love, respect, good sportsmanship and self-discipline among contestants as well as leaders. With this vision in mind URL Sport Association, a plea is made to the community to attend as URL intends to start the Sunday Outdoor League this Sunday within the ommunity. It is time to stop sitting back and relax and get the juniors involved in some sporting activity away from school instead of being idle on a Sunday. If you from say (Sunny Park ), make a Sunny Park U9, U11 and U13 junior side under the name Sunny Park juniors or if you from (Stanger Heights) make a Stanger Heights junior squad. An appeal is made to spread the word around this all over the show and get the youth involved in this Sunday league. It's a private program so not much formality is needed. All the organisor wants is a and need to see is the youth growing up united and with respect and love for each other, no matter what religion or race he/she is.
