LIVING ALONG WATER Urban Resort Hotel Design AN INDIVIDUAL ACADEMIC WORK With the fast rise of China's small and medium-sized tourist cities over the last decade or so, new tourist-attracting built area frequently lack a comparable spatial quality. This project developed how architectural language might be utilised to reclaim tradition and local character in new urban fabrics that lack context. A tourist hotels nearly 15,000 square metres of on the fringes of Anshun, China's typical tourist city, are given a spatial character of leisure, quiet, and relaxation.

GENERAL PLAN
Anshun is renowned for its diverse water landscapes, and this concept significantly influences the hotel's architectural design. The layout of the building is intimately connected with water. Furthermore, I attempted to incorporate as much of a local approach as possible in the design of the structure and the selection of building materials, such as stone tiles, wood, and blue dyed textiles with a pattern. To begin, the hotel's public activity areas on the ground and basement levels are positioned around square water ponds. This arrangement ensures that every area benefits from scenic water views, further extending to a distant lake in the backdrop. On the first floor, a linear pond acts as a guiding element for the corridors on both sides of the guest rooms. Additionally, there are water features situated outside the guest rooms, enhancing privacy while adding to the overall ambience.

SPACE FOR MOVEMENT
A A The long, dark-colored pool flows effortlessly into the external pool and surrounding stone. At the end of the corridor, two hoppers elegantly obscure the direct view of the emergency exit door while also acting as frames, catching the movement of shadows from the surrounding trees and green areas. In addition, natural light is delicately dispersed to call peoples' awareness of outside surrounding.

Plants and natural light are introduced by pushing in the walls on both sides of the passageway. The numerous frames on the left depict the contrast of water and light with stone, borrowing from the building's walls while also pointing to natural regions of interest via the apertures.

PROJECT INTRODUCTION During Construction & Sustainbility Design Studio, the project aimed to explore the complete design process of student apartments, from the overall layout down to the smallest details, using sustainable design principles. In our plan, we primarily focused on the factor of natural light. To ensure the building receives maximum sunlight during the winter while minimizing its impact on public open spaces, we designed the building with a series of terraces that create openings to capture the best sunlight from the southeast. Additionally, in the facade design, we incorporated double-layered, openable walls to absorb and store heat during the winter and nighttime. For the summer, we utilized deep balconies to effectively provide shading.

SELECTED PERSONAL WORKS FROM A GROUP ACADEMIC WORK From an urban perspective, different types of gymnasiums have different radiation ranges. This is not only a sports venue provided by the school for students, but also for the citizens, providing a public space for the citizens. The stadium is a building facing the city and needs to be marked. Currently, Campus has only one football field and a few basketball and badminton courts, lacking public space and closed venues. For the teachers and students in Campus of Chongqing University, it is very important to build a multifunctional gymnasium in Campus.

In order to achieve better light and space effects, fragmented mosaic treatments are made, and the surface adopts electrochromic glass according to the sunlight and indoor needs, which changes in variety. In addition, the undulating streamer-like landscape is used to dissolve the height difference, forming an open facade to generate gray space and green space. The sunken courtyard surrounding the competition hall emphasizes the floating feeling of the main hall.

URBAN HIVE PER LA VIVA DOLCE research by design
Tangenziale Est is a proximately division between suburban agricultrural lanscape and Milan central urban tissue and it also acrossed the mixed function pheriphral, fragile urban fabric consisted by natural park, agricultrue filed, industrials and other infrastructures. The choosen site is under the flyover and inside the grand parco forlanini which is calling for a transformation into a integreted suburban public space with high vitality and quality.

AN INDIVIDUAL ACADEMIC WORK
PROJECT INTRODUCTION This Design Studio concentrated on regenerating INFRASTRUCTURE into public space by exploring the innovative action fields of urban planning and design within current urban and suburban contexts characterized by the presence of the infrastructure. There are far too many apparently REGEN programs in the world as abandoned and neglected public spaces which have been designed by infuential designers and invested a lot, but nevertheless fail to host activities, practices, uses, and life . In this cases, we tried to also focusing on complex socio-economic transition that challenges technical knowledge, its theoretical tradition, and its practices.

1.1 SITE OVERVIEW
1.3 THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK For the area in the context of lacking care and attention in suburban area, it need in-depth, longlasting change to support transformation. Instead of only focusing on the concept of public space as “common” and shared, but also “mine” inspiring supervision and care.

Instead some are beginning to experiment with looser planning visions and design frameworks, linked to phased packages of smaller, often temporary initiatives, designed to unlock the potential of sites now, rather than in 10 years' time.
More than every thing, the human environment is about relationships between people and place also between people and people.

Potential Actors 1.2 PROBELM STATEMENT
Fixed function VS Empty land
Outside the commercial and administrative heart of the city, public space seems lacking of social integration with the immediate surroundings. Here, “collective” life is limited to common spaces all too often tied to urban services (schools, markets, gymnasiums, churches,factories...), which, when functioning, are protected from what is “outside” but never interacting with it. In fact, this area has own potential and identity through its abundant in places, ideas and resources. Its supposed to find a way for growing and promising capacity to look at themselves, to independently organize, and to promote insurgent action. Fnally reach out sustainable transformation.
Community design not only improves the likelihood of attaining social objectives but also has a positive knock-on impact inside the neighbourhood during the design process and even after.

A direct building strategy that begins with the objective of a specific physical space might result in undesirable and unsustainable outcomes. Rather of pre-determining the ultimate physical space, I believe in constant organisational activity and testing of modest space alterations to reach as near to the most appropriate form of space for CONTEXT and COMMUNITY as possible, while fostering a high level of active users. The area, like the ever-growing structure of a beehive, has the potential to be productive and expanding in the future. 24

On the days that she visits the park for running, there are a few things that can improve her experience, such as; having a place where she can store her belongings (phone, wallet, etc.) and perhaps more places where she can stop for grabbing a bottle of water or a snack after running. Other than that, she has a small hobby garden in one of the cascinas in the Cavriano area. It would grab her interest if there would be more activities in the surroundings, that can focus on interacting with nature.
-Outdoor sports are vital for my daily life. Parco forlanini is a precious green island for exercising in Milan and I hope it better.
Description
Irene is a real estate agent who lives nearby the Forlanini Park (two stops by the bus). She is vegan, and a physically active person, exercising 3-4 days a week. Due to the fact that she lives closeby, and also does not quite like exercising in an enclosed space, she prefers to visit the park for exercising (but not only).
