WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

Have

your ED

Card ready for your trip to Aruba

All travelers must fill out an ED Card on the following website: https://www.edcardaruba.aw. The ED Card cannot be filled out until 7 days prior to your trip.

For example: If your flight is on a Wednesday, you can fill out your form on Thursday.

On the website:

Select “non-resident,” enter your arrival date, and fill out your info.

Occupation dropdown: You can select “other” if you don’t see a good match for your actual occupation; do not select “student”

Purpose of Visit: You can select “Event”

Hotel dropdown: Select “Holiday Inn”

Print your ED Card and bring with you!

Arrival to Aruba

When you arrive at the airport in Aruba, you will clear Immigration and Customs. When you exit the airport, look for the person holding a Xavier sign, or a big van/bus with the Xavier logo on it, to transport you to the hotel.

Xavier Alumni Association Dinner at Azia Restaurant

7pm - 9:30pm

Azia Restaurant is walking distance from Holiday Inn (approximately 10 minutes). When exiting the hotel go right down the main street. The restaurant is about .6 miles away on opposite of the road behind Gianni’s restaurant. Spouses and family welcome.

Attire is Busiess Casual

THURSDAY, MAY 16

Alumni Global Meet

Please have breakfast at the hotel before leaving for the Global Alumni Meet

Pickup from Holiday Inn to take you to academic campus. Please wait outside the hotel for the bus.

Coffee & networking with alumni and students

8:30 am - 12 pm

Alumni Global Meet

Four 45-minute presentation sessions in the auditorium.

Business professional attire Lunch will be provide.

There will be transportation back to hotel after.

12 pm - 1 pm

1 pm - 2 pm

5 pm - 7 pm

Networking lunch

Photos & video interviews

Happy Hour located in Holiday Inn Courtyard

Please note that throughout the day, we will also ask alumni to join us for photos and video interviews both on the academic campus and the residential campus. Instructions will be provided to you on campus if you are being asked to participate in this.

FRIDAY, MAY 17

Global Health Leadership Summit

Please be ready to leave and outside of the main entrance of the hotel at 6:30pm. Bus will leave promptly at 6:45pm.

There will be transportation back to hotel at the end of the event.

SATURDAY, MAY 18

Departure Procedure

We have coordinated your transportation back to the airport based on your flight times.

After you check out of the hotel, a Xavier employee will be out front to show you to your vehicle.

Your departure time will be communicated to you in your welcome letter..

Please be outside of the hotel 15 minutes before. Thank you!
