01.Sloping and Rotating Family restaurant design Playablity of walls
Suzhou,Jiangsu,China Academic Individual Instructor:Song Jinghua When I was a child,I liked to stay in irregular space with some facilities of playability no matter what the function of the space was.In this kind of space other children and I would get known to each other in short time.In this restaurant,I want to attach importance to the feelings of children and they can enjoy something more than just the food.

Inspiration
I was inspired by the recreation facilities that children like and found some similarities among them. From them I found that children like play with facilitie with sloping element and rotating element. So I use these two elements as my main method to create space that can be attractive for children.
From Space To Spaces
In this restaurant,I want to turn the fixed size space into a more flexible one.So I try to utilize rotating walls to supply the customers especially the kids with more alternatives in how to use the space.

02.Break Down the Fourth Wall Performing arts centre in campus Playability of theatre space
Wuhan,Hubei,China Academic Individual Instructor:Shu Yang
When a scene is set indoors and three of the walls of its room are presented on stage, in what is known as a box set.The fourth wall is a performance convention in which an invisible, imagined wall separates actors from the audience. What I try to do is to remove the fourth wall and make performer and audience have close contact.
6
In this performing centre, the users of the buildings are students from different majors and different country,I want them to have more chance to communicate with the students majoring in acting and sense something more than the show itself. The ordinary theatre often have fixed seats for audience and fixed stage for actor and there is a fourth wall between these two groups.Inspired by the immersive theatre,I want to break down the fourth wall and reimage the actor-audience relationship.
I choose four typical categories of theatre plans which have distinct characteristics while they give performers or the audience flexible way to move during the show. And I choose them as my archirecture archetypes to reference in my performing arts centre design.

Landscape Design Along The Central Axis

Along the central axis of the building, the landscape areas are divided into four categories. The first one combines performance space with landscape space. In the second type, the courtyards are combined with traditional space which connects the exterior space with interior performance space. The last one is the simple function courtyard, but in this kind of courtyard, landscape design also has some connection with the landscape design in the indoor space.

03.The Home of Migratory Birds Building for birdwatching on a small island Playability of observation
Panjin,Liaoning,China Academic in Collaboration with Liang Di,Cao Xinhao Individually Reworked Instructor:Li Kun The Red Beach is such a distinctive and poetic site that we do not want our building to destroy the hamonious aesthetic feeling here.We choose a relatively regular overall form which is accessble for birds. The blocks inside are designed according to the different habits of birds and different ways for visitors to observe. We want to enrich the experience possibility and playability of the building while being friendly to those birds.

Introduction
PEDESTRIAN LINE
The site is a crescent island called moon bay and it is on the Red beach. Red beach is a marshland coverd with saline seepweed, which turns red every autumn. There are many rare birds here which need to be studied and protected. The building needs to provide birdwatching space which can be both friendly for visitors and birds so I designed different observation space according to the living habits of the typical rare birds.

04.Green Infiltration
Urban village renovation in Wuhan Playability of greening
Wuhan,Hubei,China Academic in Collaboration with Li Baoxian,He Jiaqi Individually Reworked Instructor:Shu Yang People in urban village usually live a leisurely but not that comfortable life and vast majority of them are old original residents or young tenants who have relatively low salary. What we want to do is to create greening areas with more functions to provide them with a fulfilling and healthy life without paying extra money and sometimes they can even save money or earn money from these activities.
16
Site Conditions
The site is a urban village area with a protective historical building,a high school and a primary school. We divide the site into three parts, the historic block, the mixed block and the residential block. Most people who live here are children and people over 50.We plan to use greenning strategy to help people in this site to improve their living environment.Meanwhile, they can earn some extra money and have more chance to communicate with each others.
Though there is a protective historical building in the site, not many people come to this block since the surrounding area is dirty, noisy and disorder. The alleys in the urban village are quite narrow and it is easy to get lost.
