Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
Major Depressive Disorder is the most common form of depression. Generally, this form of disorder is simply referred to as depression. This particular form of depression also affects an individual’s work life and social life.
Bipolar disorder
Unlike Major Depressive Disorder, in Bipolar disorder a person witnesses both periods i.e. depression and normalcy. In this disorder, a person might feel extremely happy and energetic at one point and may also experience extreme sadness and frustration at other times. The cause of this disorder is sometimes also linked to certain life situations wherein a person has witnessed a tragedy or loss of a loved one.
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
The signs and symptoms of Premenstrual Dysphoric disorder are similar to those of premenstrual syndrome. The most common symptoms include irritability, fatigue, sadness, anxiety, mood swings, etc. This particular disorder is also linked to the hormones. PMDD is serious as compared to PMS and can lead to suicidal thoughts too.
