UPY se hace con la mayoría absoluta en Yaiza

Al cierre de esta edición y ya con el 100 % escrutado, la lista encabezada por el actual alcalde de Yaiza, Óscar Noda, consigue la mayoría absoluta en las elecciones municipales celebradas este 28 de mayo. Unidos Por Yaiza suma un edil respecto a los anteriores comicios y pasa a tener un total de 9 concejales de los 17 que forman la Corporación Local a pesar de la salida del partido de Jonathan Lemes, quien con su nueva formación, Yaiza Siempre (YAS), consigue 2 ediles.

Por su parte Coalición Canaria, dirigida por Emilio Machín, pierde un representante y se queda con 3, el Partido Popular con Juan Monzón continúa con 2 ediles en la Corporación municipal; y el PSOE de Carmen Guadalupe se mantiene con uno.

Lanzarote en Pie, Unidas Sí Podemos y Vox se quedan sin representación en el municipio de Yaiza.

por VOX y 118 (2,53) por Unidas Sí Podemos. A estos datos hay que sumar los 38 votos en blanco y 57 nulos.

El porcentaje de abstención en Yaiza sigue siendo alto, con un 48,65% de los votantes que han decidido no ejercer su derecho al voto.

Se han contabilizado un total de 4.711 votos, de los cuales 2.102 (45,16%) han sido para UPY, 758 votos (16,28%) para CC, 581 (12,48%) para el PP, 458 (9,84%) para YAS y 289 (6,20%) para el PSOE. 158 (3,39%) personas se han decantado por Lanzarote En Pie, 152 (3,26%) new party, Yaiza Siempre (YAS), gains 2 councillors.

The candidacy of Coalición Canaria led by Emilio Machín lose 1 representative and end up with 2 councillors; the Partido Popular, led by Juan Monzón, keep 2 representatives in the council; and the party PSOE of Carmen Guadalupe keep one.
