The 2025 MT-07 has been engineered to offer an even more invigorating riding experience thanks to a revised chassis, riding modes enabled by the adoption of the YCC-T electronic throttle and a sound enhanced version of the CP2 engine— which can now also be experienced with Y-AMT.
As the original Hyper Naked born out of the Dark Side of Japan, the MT-09 has always been the purest of all MT
models and this is no different for 2025 with the CP3powered machine offering a thrilling riding experience with pure adrenaline, aggressive styling and premium technical specification. A more refined Dark Side of Japan experience can be seen with the MT-09 SP, which takes the already exceptional MT-09 platform even further.
The MT-03 sees a sleek re-designed tail unit for 2025, along with an EU5+ engine and simple smartphone connectivity, while the MT-125 also benefits from an EU5+ motor as well as an enhanced connectivity package.

Each step in our technological development seeks to offer a more immersive riding experience which is even more gratifying for the rider. The new Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT) is set to take that feeling further, marking the start of a new era by offering an advanced gear shifting technology that introduces a new dimension to sports riding.
Y-AMT allows you to fully focus on enjoying the sports performance offered by your motorcycle, by delivering consistently linear shifts to create the most engaging riding experience with the choice of a slick, finger operated manual shift (MT) or a two-mode fully automatic transmission (AT).

With a closer and more refined connection to the brain than the feet, the hands are one of the most tactile and
powerful tools the human body has. Shifting by hand alone, as opposed to a foot-and-hand combination, is not only quicker but requires less thinking time, allowing you to hyper-focus on throttle and brake application, lean angle, body position and tyre grip levels to intensify the ride. With Y-AMT, you don’t have to move your left foot from the footpeg, allowing you to instead focus on body position and weight distribution through the pegs in order to enhance the control of your motorcycle, especially in cornering.

The MT-10 SP is ready to introduce you to the ultimate riding experience. Its CP4 engine is the most powerful in the Hyper Naked line-up. And the radical semi-active electronic suspension and high-tech rider aids represent the dawn of a thrilling new era in total ride-by-wire controllability.
This brutal and iconic naked sport bike is the first motorcycle in the world to be fitted with Öhlins’ 6-mode electronically controlled spool valve suspension. In semi-active mode the damping force is automatically adjusted to suit riding conditions, giving the highest degree of chassis precision when braking, accelerating and cornering.
To enable you to fully exploit the 998cc engine’s power and torque, there’s a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that controls traction, slides, wheelies, engine braking and brake power. Exclusive MT-10 SP equipment includes a 3-piece lower cowl and braided brake hoses – and with its dynamic race-inspired Icon Performance colour and premium finish, the MT10 SP has it all.
Gen-2 Öhlins Electronic Suspension
The MT-10 SP is the first motorcycle in the world to be equipped with the radical Öhlins electronically controlled spool valve suspension. Offering a wide range of more precisely controlled settings, this pioneering system gives a choice of three semi-active and three manual modes that provide a higher degree of controllability for the most thrilling highperformance riding experience.

Another exclusive feature on the MT-10 SP is a lightweight 3-piece belly cowl that gives the bike a refined and aggressive sports look and directs air at the oil cooler for consistent operating temperatures.

High-performance bikes need high-performance brakes, and the radial mount front calipers and rear caliper are equipped with braided brake hoses that retain their feel and effectiveness under the most extreme pressures.

With its R1-derived system featuring dual floating 320mm discs and 4-piston radial mounted calipers, the MT-10 SP is equipped with a truly sophisticated braking package. The model is fitted with a Brembo radial front brake master cylinder for even more accurate feel and controllability, giving you the ultimate stopping performance.
Nothing can match the thrill of the MT-10 SP’s powerful 998cc CP4 engine. Its crossplane technology design gives an uneven firing sequence that delivers sensational torque for remarkable acceleration – and the bike features a tuned intake system with large intake ducts and tank-mounted Acoustic Amplifier Grilles that emit a deep roar for a spine-tingling experience as you open the throttle.
Yamaha’s sophisticated Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (APSG) is the latest ride-by-wire system that gives you the most efficient and natural feeling throttle for the highest degree of control. Throttle response can be adjusted with the PWR system which gives you a selection of four power delivery modes, from a soft response for wet surfaces, through to aggressive track day riding.
As soon as you press the starter button you’ll hear and feel the unique sound emitted by the specially tuned titanium midship muffler with symmetrical left/right tail pipes. Together with the tuned intake system, it uses the crossplane engine’s uneven firing sequence to make the most unique and stirring exhaust note that sounds like no other bike!

4.2’’ TFT Meter with Ride Mode selection
The 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display gives a clear overview of all the information you need for a ride. The menu switch on the right handlebar enables you to move quickly between different screens – and the Mode/Select switch on the left handlebar changes the settings on the electronic rider aids individually – or you can switch all settings at once by using the 4-mode YRC.
6-Axis IMU with full rider aids suite
Hidden inside a little black box is a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that senses pitch, roll and yaw, as well as forward/backward, up/down and left/right acceleration. The ECU then uses this data to activate the high-tech rider aids package, including traction control, Slide Control (SCS) wheelie control (LIF) engine braking (EBM) and brake control (BC) that ensure the ultimate setup on every ride.
Up and down quickshifter
For faster and more efficient acceleration, the MT-10 is fitted with a quickshifter as standard. This electronic system enables you to perform full throttle clutchless upshifts, as well as smoother and more controlled clutchless downshifts that – along with the A&S clutch – help to maintain chassis stability when decelerating.

Customisable TRACK Yamaha Ride Control settings
In addition to the three factory-set riding modes SPORT, STREET, RAIN and the two extra customisable modes, the MT-09 SP exclusively features the addition of TRACK modes, enabling you to customise four extra patterns to suit certain track scenarios. The individual TRACK modes allow for more refined, specialised settings including the option of choosing between two engine brake management settings and the ability to alter the level of brake control. Additionally, you can also turn off rear ABS to further enhance on-track performance.

The calipers feature a slimmer piston and brake pad area, compared to conventional calipers, as well as being lighter, more rigid and offering enhanced control in braking input. In addition, larger diameter pistons are adopted for increased braking forces allowing you to experience the next level in braking performance.
Exclusive fully-adjustable suspension systems
SP-exclusive premium suspension brings Supersport-level handling and precision to the Hyper Naked class. The 41mm DLC coated KYB forks and Öhlins rear shock feature a higher spring rate offering outstanding stability during more spirited, sporty riding. You can fine tune their set-up to suit a variety of different riding situations with the forks fully adjustable for preload, re-bound and compression damping, while the Öhlins shock is equipped with a remote preload adjuster to enable quick and easy changes.
Lightweight CF die-cast aluminium frame
Taking the next leap in technological advancement, the MT-09 SP becomes the first Hyper Naked to feature Yamaha’s Smart Key System. The engine is started by pressing and turning the newly designed switch, provided that the smart key is within a specified range such as in your pocket. The all-new switch also features a lock and unlock option for the fuel tank cap, further simplifying the riding experience.
Developed from the R1, the compact six-axis IMU controls the MT-09 SP’s high-tech rider aids including a three-mode Traction Control System (TCS), Slide Control System (SCS), front wheel Lift Control System (LIF) and Brake Control System. This best-in-class technology now features a Back Slip Regulator (BSR), which offers stabilisation when the rear wheel locks under excessive braking by controlling the level of torque produced.
The compact CF (controlled filling) die-cast aluminium frame design is a modern take on the iconic Deltabox layout, providing a high level of chassis stiffness for excellent rider feedback and stability. Its optimised swingarm pivot structure and its light and slim chassis give a more laidback feel making the MT-09 SP a partner for all kinds of sporty riding.
The grin-inducing roar of the CP3 is one of its most defining characteristics, evoking a sense of pure adrenaline with every twist of the throttle. The MT-09 SP features specifically designed airintake ducts which accentuate the high frequency sounds, which are then emphasised, especially at higher speed, by an acoustic amplifier grille on top of the fuel tank, delivering the CP3’s vibrant note directly to you.

Latest EU5+ 890cc CP3 engine
The remarkable, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine is light and powerful, offering high torque at low rpm. The acoustic harmony which results from a combination of the induction sound and exhaust note gives the CP3 its recognisable roar, which heightens the feeling of acceleration. The fuel injectors give increased efficiency, while optimised gear ratios and a refined A&S (assist and slipper) clutch match the high output of the engine.
Customisable ride modes with Yamaha Ride Control settings
Customise your riding experience via Yamaha Ride Control (YRC), which works simultaneously alongside the Y-AMT, allowing you to select engine power characteristics and the level of electronic intervention to suit your preferences and road conditions. Three integrated riding modes are programmed with factory settings to suit different situations: SPORT, STREET and RAIN; but you can also create two custom programmes to suit your individual preferences. The YRC settings can be customised directly in the dashboard menu or on your smartphone via the MyRide app.
In order to match the MT-09’s high torque and acceleration, stopping power is enhanced by a Brembo radial master cylinder, which produces a linear supply of pressure to the four-piston calipers, mounted to the dual 298mm front discs and offering outstanding braking performance with finger-tip control.

Electronic throttle, YRC riding modes and switchable TCS
YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) facilitates a new generation of electronic aids and contributes to an even more linear power delivery to create a greater connection between rider and machine. Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) allows you to choose between two throttle maps and switchable traction control, with the option of a customisable YRC mode to match your own preferences.
Acoustic amplifying technology
Contributing to the visceral connection between rider and machine, the MT-07 features a sound amplification system which harnesses the bike’s induction roar, enhancing and channelling it to the rider to increase the grin-inducing feeling offered by the MT’s famous torque.

New 41mm ‘upside down’ forks offer high levels of control and an intuitive level of connection with the front tyre, all while giving a modern look to the MT-07. The highly responsive forks are matched to a linked-type rear shock absorber, which is adjustable for both preload and rebound damping, creating a sporting ride every time.
Contributing to a lighter and more agile MT-07, the wheels have been manufactured using Yamaha’s patented SpinForged technology. This allows for a thinner and lighter casting, without compromising strength. Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres have been specially chosen as OE equipment for MT-07, being famed for their light handling and all-round capabilities.
The MT-07’s 5-inch TFT instruments come with multiple themes and smartphone connectivity via the free MyRide app, so you can now listen to music, as well as view incoming call and message notifications on the dashboard. Full map and turnby-turn navigation is also available through the free Garmin StreetCross app, all of which can be controlled through the new switchgear.

Unleash your darkness with the MT-03’s EU5+ 320cc liquid-cooled 2-cylinder engine, equipped with lightweight forged pistons with carburized con rods that deliver thrilling torque-rich performance. The light-feeling clutch makes the MT-03 even more fun when carving through the city, and an advanced fuel injection system ensures instant throttle response.
To be a Master of Torque, you need to feel at one with the machine. With its compact bodywork and low 780mm seat height, the MT-03 puts you ‘in the bike’ and offers an agile and thrilling ride in the city or out on the twisties. Torque-rich 125cc EU5+ engine with VVA
The MT-125’s thrilling 125cc 4-valve liquid-cooled EU5+ engine is equipped with Yamaha’s exclusive Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system featuring two intake cams. This R125 Supersport-derived technology enables the engine to deliver exciting levels of torque at lower engine speeds and outstanding top-end performance when you open the throttle.
Increased smartphone connectivity
The MT-125’s CCU communicates with the MyRide app so text and call notifications, plus weather and music track status are displayed on the dashboard. Turn-by-turn navigation is also enabled providing way point arrival times, street name information and destination weather conditions to keep you informed throughout your ride.
The MT-125 is equipped with an assist and slipper (A&S) clutch with a super-light feeling at the lever that gives easy gear changing. As well as requiring less physical input from the rider, the A&S clutch importantly makes aggressive high-rev downshifts even smoother and helps prevent rear wheel lock ups to give you greater control of your MT.
