1.1 POINT / LINE / PLANE Flowing-making design have sense of movement. When light is on the steel structure, there are sense of movement of steel support (Sliver paper: standing for Line). The gallery is made by translucent material. This create a comfortable environment.

1.2 FRAME & INFILL
Concept: Confusion-making people feel confused and lost inside. Also creating a spatial confusion so that people don’t know where they are. Using translucent and transparency material to trick people‘s view in order to control their view. Therefor they will be lost inside and translucent material are used to control the space and makes people feel confused when they don’t know where entrance is and where is passageway.

1.3 MASS Concept: Danger-creating sense of danger in order to stop people going inside. Unknown, dark, fear, stress environments are considered in this concept. The main method is cutting the ground. The gaps on top allow the light go in so that light and dark space are created. The gap on bottom stone block can makes people falling down. Also inside is the dark space. It creates sense of unknown and stress. The whole project is composited by simple geometry elements. The round elements in dark space will bang people’s head. This

My concept for final project is merging. This first model is merging two sheets with different colour to a landscape. Second one is merging building and landscape together. Third one is merging different material into a box. Finally. These 3 models can be merged in to one merging conceptual model.

4.0 REFLECTION During this semester, how your design related to your concept is the most important thing that I learned. At beginning of semester, I felt so confused between tectonic and concept. I even don’t know what concept is. Therefore, my design project always mislead. After the whole semester, the understanding for these concepts and tectonic get improved. Also I learn to ask myself questions during design process. Why is like that and how this related to your concept. This is a good way to test your project by your own. Therefore, I always delete or add elements again and again during the process. In terms of material. I mainly focus on transparency and translucent material and consider the relationship between them and light. Finally, the abstract is another challenge to me at beginning. The precedent research helps me to understand abstract meaning like mass.
