Shenzhen Tian Guangming District Cloud Vally Phase Two This project is an Industrial Park located in Shenzhen Guangming District, and we are responsible in two Industrial Part in Phase Two. Now is under SD process, and I am resposible in 3D modeling , animation and some documentation work in the previous CD process. Right now I am resposible in three city overpass projects which connected Phase One and Phase Two, from conceptional design process and now is under development design process. During the overpass design process I am able to work out a complete project document and comunicating with client and consulants with the help of project architect. Shanghai Jiading Zhuqiao Technology Urban Design Competition This project is an Urban Design Competition, located in Jiading New City, Shanghai. The goverment intended to expand the original to the north and connected with Taicang and Kunshan. There is also an historical town in the site, and carry on the local culture with comtemporary city. The competition ended at the end of March.In this project, I am responsible in part of information collecting, concept design, 3d modeling rendering and animation. City Overpass Project This project is a branch of Shenzhen Tianan Guangming District Cloudy Vally Phase Two. Inorder to build a second platform for their Guangming Industiral Project the client need three city overpasses to connect their Phase One and Two. In this prject, I am in charge of two of them from concept design until now, design developemnt, with the help of project architect. During the time, I am able to communicate with clients and consultants, as well as presentation to optimize the project, solve structrual problem and many other stuff. This project is going to be constructed from spring of 2022.

Shenzhen Fullsun Extra Option Design This Project located in Shenzhen, the client was Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company The site sit along the city main road. The design is intend to connect the city with the architecture together. The site is devided into two parts by the street. Therefore, the preoposal is to design a shopping center with roof garden as well as a bridge to connect the two site together. Since the project is still in negotiating process, I designed and extra option and built the digtal model, produced render for the design with SketchUp, Rhino Vray and Adobe Suite.


Wuhan Yangchun Lake, South Parcel A This Project located in Wuhan, the client was Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company The site in before Wuhan Highspeed Railway Station, where the location is pretty presious for commercial use. The design is intend to design a mixed-use commercial center including a park, six towers, two shopping center and a subway station.

Redhouse Rennovation Redhouse was designed and built-in 1950s and used to a high ranked hotel at the time. As time goes by, this hotel needs renovation of both interior and structure to satisfied the requirement of the client. Since Redhouse is a historical building, we have to keep what it looks like from the outside. The first floor would be the lobby, cafe as well as the bar. The second floor and third floor would be the hotel room. In this project, I am responsible for the digital model making, in house render, constructional drawing, and appliance specification.


Zhengzhou Grinding Wheel Factory City Design This project is a city design for the Zhengzhou Grinding Wheel Factory, which is abandoned by the times and needs renovation. The clients want the district equipped with retail, entertainment, office, hotel, and high-level resident. Because this factory is also a historical project, we could only design based on the original shell. In this project, I mainly responsible for the concept design, diagram drawing, digital model and rendering.

The Cross

The building cannot be isolated from the city. This project trying to enhance the relationship between the city and the building itself. The design starting from the movement of people from different direction of the neighborhood, and generate a cross to cut the basic mass of the building. The mass of the project is divided into three parts, retail on the ground, a platform in the middle and headquarters on the top of the platform. Retail, which is the most flexible place of the building and should be, is designed as several pieces set on the ground. The main workspace, such as we-work space, conference room, and single workspace, is considered a big part on the top. The platform serves as the connection of the headquarters and the retail, and second ground of the building. The platform is also a horizontal connection of four towers and creates a public space for the user of a tower which is different from the ground.

The Upside Down City Concert Hall Design

-Instructor : Eric Owen Moss-Catagory : Group Work-Project : Concert Hall Design-Time : Thesis-Software: Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suit-

Our site is in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The city currently lacks a concert hall suitable for symphony music, and our project is based on a recent international design competition for a new concert venue. The site is Tauras Hill, a location with high symbolic and urban significance, that offers an impressive panorama of the city center. An important urban axis connects it with a major public square at this base. The project program is so big that it takes as much as what is now a freely accesable park. To preserve the urban connectivity and add a new iconic feature to this historic city, our design lifts the building in the air. Formally, our design recycles medieval city center turned upside down. This new orientation of no-form ratically challenges both the habitual understanding of the city and architecture ordinary connection the ground. The concert hall is perched on the upside down city, reversing the expected vertical gradient of big to small. The pedestrian experience remains focus on the surreal sense that the city has flipped, while the view from the distance becomes one of the startlingly new massing floating above the existing silhouette.

The intent of the design is from the facade. For most of the building, the facade is the same meaning as the wall. However, what if we separated the facade with the wall? Therefore, this design has a core of the main programs, such as reading room, stack and other, and a skin wrapping around the "core". The space between the skin and core could become public lobby, the roof garden with pavilion. The structure of the "skin" is truss and the "core" is the column system and extend to the outside of the building in order to support the "skin". For the interior, is tried to divide the room by their height and by a different kind of wall, glass, and stack, to create spaces with different privacy.

This Project focuses on how architecture facade would translate to function. Function is the base of architecture while facade is a kind of decoration. In order to support this theory, two layers of facade are applied. The inside layer meets the function and the outside servers as decoration.

The Balloon and The Pod -Instructor : John Enright-Catagory : Competition-Project : European Velo Stop Design-Time : Selected Studio Project, 2018 Fall-Software: Maya, Rhino, V-ray-

This project is intended to design several velo stops for people who participate in the bike ride. The design starts with the thought of sign. As a velo stop station, it should be remarkable enough for the riders to find them along the journey. So, why couldn’t be a ballon? The balloon could fly high enough in the sky for the riders to locate them. This project was divided into two parts, one part stays on the ground to satisfy the basic requirement of a rest stop, another part is the floating in the air, which plays a role as a sign. This sign would be floating to a height between 40m and 60m. In this way, the sign can be seen from miles away. The rider would be able to schedule their route easily. The Balloon is ornamental and designed as a colorful and playful shape, which will become part of the scenery. The balloon would be made of a soft material activated by helium, an environmentally friendly, cheap and safe material. The “Balloon” would be released when the stop is ready. For the pod on the ground, it is designed as a hard shell that holds a soft heart in the inside. The shape of the hard shell and soft heart is as simple as it can to fit the basic needs of the stop. In the same time, the balloon has also undertaken the storage part to avoid wild animals stolen their baggage and bikes. This stops is non-movable architecture. REST REST REST

Bacially, when there are some stop or metels, they always set up a sign to remind people.

What if we combine the sign and the balloon together, it will becomes a sign in the air? REST REST REST

This project is a public learning center for the medical school and agriculture school students on campus. These two schools located in the north and east part of the site and the student apartment is in the south part of the site. Therefore, there must be several available entrances in these directions. Due to the shape of the site, the shape of the building should include two courtyard in order to satisfy the daylight need of the classroom. The main strategies of the facade solar panels and wall greening system facing the south. The distribution of the solar panel and greening panel is set according to the calculation of the solar energy.

Forest In the Forest -Instructor : John Enright-Catagory : Competition-Project : European Velo Stop Design-Time : Selected Studio Project, 2018 Fall-Software: Rhino, Grasshopper, V-ray-

The proposal for this design is to create an artificial forest in the real forest. This project imitates the natural tree growing form to generate a man-made nature in the national park. The visitor center is designed like a tree house hang in this forest. The column in the artificial forest not only serve as a decoration but also play as a structure. The house in the forest is divided into 4 part in order to satisfy the different function of the center. In the same time, they are located in the different height of platforms so they can see the national park in several views. Only three of the platforms have houses, the one serves as the playground is totally open, so there are enough places for a kid running and for visitors outdoor camping. All these four platforms are connected by a one-way path, visitors can go up and down along the path to see the two forest from a different perspective. The outline of the roof, platform, and the house are different. These three elements create varieties of spaces, indoor, outdoor and grey spaces, which also create a poetic environment for uses. The materials of the project are gloss metal, high reflection metal and glass to create a totally man-made environment to make a contrast with the natural forest. As for the ground area, one-third of the site is designed as parking to satisfied the basic need of the function. The other part, in the metal forest, people are able to walk around to enjoy the scene between the man-made forest and are able to reach every platform by the elevator connected to the platform.

Other Work Other Studio and Seminar Project Mixed-Use Flower Market Nature is over, there is no nature anymore.” And while classical ideals of nature disappear, the territory of nature has silently become an area for work, speculation and potentially a new aesthetic of architecture. It is precisely in this arena that the studio will look for new architectural opportunities. This year the 2GBX Design Studio will take on this controversial discussion, how contemporary architecture”engages with nature”within a high density city setting like Downtown LA. Visual Study The course will cover issues of contemporary representation and the development of splines in relation to complex digital form and physical and visual space. Advance Techonic -Instructor : Maxi SpinaThe course is intend to study the facade structure of several famous architecture. The structure we study is Louis Vuiton Foundation Design by Frank Ghrey. After that, we try to design a new facade structure in order to fit the weather of Los Angeles.
