THE CONCEPT It is as simple as this; enjoy the photographs! I would like you to have your personal and unique understanding about the photographs in this book. I want you to put your thoughts down and think why this photographer took these pictures around London. What was his purpose? Maybe there was none, maybe they are just street shots when he was bored and wanted to walk around the centre and observe different lights and shapes. I will tell you only one thing, I had great times exploring areas and I keep doing it! If you start paying attention around you, you will realise that there are so many things that you haven’t noticed before. Even in the most busy places that you would normally avoid due to the crowds blocking the streets, walking in every direction, you will discover a different world of photography. It has never been boring for me out there and you know what? Every day is different, everyday I see different people, shadows rushing around and dancing with the light; magic.

I have discovered more about myself and my photography since I moved to London. It is such a vibrant city with so many opportunities. It is a place where you have to get out of your comfort zone and discover yourself, be yourself and not being afraid of trying new things. I used to do all kinds of photography but still I wasn’t feeling fulfilled enough, there was something missing. So I started thinking about what I really want from my photography; what do I want to represent, and what message do I want to send? All I wanted really was to grab my camera and be able to express myself and my creativity. Street photography was the biggest discovery for me. I have always had curiosity about people and so I decided to think outside the box and just be myself and be brave enough to take the shots that I personally would find fulfilling, and I hope others would feel the same when they see my pictures. I get so excited when I am outside in the streets and being a part of this vibrant city. People are very interesting for various reasons, the way they live, what they look like, when they get lost in thoughts, their shapes, clothes, expressions. Everything is so interesting and unexpected in people and in the streets! Till I learned to think outside the box my other challenge was my gear. It took me a while to realise that I didn’t need a good camera to take a good picture, nor have lots of lenses. However, I experimented a lot and learned a lot about different kinds of photography. All I needed was my creativity and a camera that felt good when I had it with me in the street. I took the decicion to sell all my gear and stick only with one little camera with an attached 35mm lens. It is my little companion which is always in my bag ready to be used for any unexpected shot.
