The median study score for the year was 34, with the state median being 30 Principal’s message I congratulate our Class of 2018 on their success in the VCE. All of our students successfully completed the VCE with ten students achieving an ATAR over 99 and more than one in three achieving an ATAR of 90 or above. The median ATAR of 84.13 means that more than half of the year level achieved in the top 16% of the state. The Dux of the School for 2018 was Shengbang (Peter) Tong who achieved an ATAR of 99.70. This is an outstanding achievement. For the whole class, 17.2% of the study score were over 40 and the median study score for the year was 34. There were three students who achieved a perfect score of 50 for their subject. The overall result was another strong performance by Yarra Valley Grammar students in the VCE. We are very proud of the Class of 2018. They have worked consistently well together as a group and contributed more broadly in a very positive way to the life of our School during their time with us.
