HOSPITALITY Project Title: Hublot Area: 7109.26sq/ft. Location:Near Goa Beach.

Project Brief • We had to design a hotel in Goa for a respective brand choosen. • Brand that i choose is HUBLOT it is a luxury watch brand. • Rooms were divided into two categories: Suite rooms and Standard rooms • The ground floor consists of a Lobby, Restaurant, Cafe, Swimming Pool and MD’s cabin.

Brand Study

• They are known for their pure lines, and enormous respect for the chosen materials. • Its guiding principle was simplicity, and his look which was modelled on a ship’s porthole. • Hublot timepieces combine unconventional designs with an absolute claim to quality and precision. • Hublot time pieces are fairly contemporary. • Hublot watches are bold, innovative, and strong in character.

EXHIBITION Project Title: Artemide. Area: 387.50 sq/ft. Location: Mumbai.

Project Brief • Designing an Exhibition space for a given brand . • The project include an Exhibition space with a limitation of 20’ × 20’ and a height of 13’. • Two sides of the given space had to remain close. • The objective of this project was understanding the brand and their way of reaching out to people.

• The company is named after Artemis, The Greek Goddess of moon. • Thus designs are distinctly Lunar, Round and White, with an all round glow. • Taking this into consideration the lights which are to be displayed will be in circular in form. • The mood board for the space will follow Good Light and Black as its primary element. • The style followed will be purely contemporary.

COMMERCIAL

Design Concept

Project Title: Co-working Office Space for Lonely Planet. Area: 3175 sq/ft. Location: Gandhinagar.

• Since the office is situated in Ahmedabad, the Heritage City of India the office interiors are inspired from the cultures of India, and mainly from the three ways of travelling which is used all over i.e. waterways, airways and roadways. • Workstations are positioned around the perimeter of the space to capitalize on the natural light entering the building, minimizing the need for artificial light sources. • The interior is fun & bright with a wide range of spaces.

Project Brief • The project given to us was to make a magazines office. • The design is for Publishers office of Lonely Planet, a travel magazine. • The space is to be designed keeping in mind the number of people working as well as was constrained by the existing positions of elevators,staircase and toilets. • Optimum space utilization was required within the given constraints.

CONTAINER

Design Brief • I have chosen to make an Eyewear retail shop for the given container • The inspiration comes from the shape of an Eye. • Straight and edged lines break our vision. To counter it, a cool and relaxing environment is created through the color scheme used in the given space. • GAFAS is the brand name which means Eyewear in Spanish. • On the outer part there is a Marble facade.

Project Title: Eyewear Retail Shop. Area: 20’ x 7’ feet. Location:Mumbai.

Project Brief • The objective of this project is to use a shipping container to design a space for any activity of your choice. Requirements of the project are: • The design aims to create a usable space in the given container. • The constraints require a plinth of appropriate size and shape be added to the approch area. • A money transaction is deemed necessary.

Technical Representation of Drawings

• Bathroom details with it’s plumbing and floor plan for a given 2bhk residence was drafted. • Different types of staircase and it’s construction details were studied. • Window details were drafted as a part of technical drawing.

• Taking lines as my prime inspiration, the coffee table has been designed with one single line that continues on all side of the cube. • The inspiration comes from isometric design of continuous lines. 11

Project Brief Materials explored : • Rusted Nails.

Program • The aim of this exercise was to make a light element using reused materials i.e junk or scrap materials.

Concept • Rusted nails from old furniture pieces were used to create the design. • Contemporary styles were followed that give a rustic, industrial vibe to the light element.

Concept • This furniture is designed for ZYDUS CADILA an pharmaceutical company which is constructing their new research center in Ahmedabad. • The specialty of this is that it is a curved wall . 13
