The iCR8 Bootcamp is an intense, ten-week summer program that prepares emerging professionals for the advertising industry. Participants visit numerous advertising firms to gain an understanding of the business and work together to generate effective and creative solutions for real clients.

The 2009 Bootcamp challenged participants to formulate marketing strategies for The City of Dallas and the eco-friendly clothing manufacturer, Broccoli City. Processes included consumer research and field studies on “green� living, a tour of a sustainable home community, and concept development.

The 2010 Bootcamp challenged participants to create a campaign for Globe Aware. Globe Aware is a non-profit organization promoting cultural awareness and sustainability by implementing community projects in international host communities.

TRAVEL WITH THE GO FUND
The Go Fund is a travel scholarship available for emerging leaders who know no boundaries. Financed travel provides opportunities to attend industry conferences and events to those who may not be able to afford such expenses. This program also enables recipients to conduct job searches nationally and internationally.

The Drum is an online radio program hosted by an array of industry professionals. Speakers discuss trends in advertising, marketing and media while sharing personal insights and advice with listeners. Be the Boom and magnify the movement by empowering yourself. Bootcamp initiates are selected through application, portfolio review and in-person interview during the spring. Go Scholarship awards are given based on application and statement of purpose.
