'Hidden_domain' was created by an architect. It is an imaginary world where the architect releases her illogical thoughts after work.

Lost ink lines and wandering strokes depict a 'living space' indwelling animals or objects, such as a scissor island, cat mountain, or a dinosaur mansion. It's all about providing viewers with heavy doses of fantasy.

Crocodile Shinkansen

Tokyo 2020 Olympics

On my way to my friend's house to watch the opening Olympic ceremony, I saw a French father was going on a hunger strike in front of Sendagaya station for kids abducted by his Japanese ex-wife. I didn't know how to show my support that day, but I drew this scene that stuck with me on the bottom right side of the drawing.

Trip to Setouchi inland sea

Those little buildings in the drawing are art and architecture pieces scattered on the islands. Among those, I love the Teshima art museum the best, and I saw the reflection of the moon on the sea was an unforgettable moment on this trip.

Mr. Tokyo Big SIght

I have participated in a few art display-and-sell events in Tokyo Big Sight. Many participants used a wheely carry-on suitcase to carry their artwork here for display, Each time I approached this gigantic building with a suitcase, I couldn't stop wondering if other participants were also playing the Star war theme song in their heads like we were boarding on a spaceship.

Bye-bye to ‘Nakagin capsule tower '

It was sad to see this signature building of the Japanese metabolism architecture movement being torn down. But watching it gone is better than seeing it aging disgracefully. So, bye-bye.

I hope to see this concept come back to the world again.

The coffee pot”s dream I drank lots of coffee in the office when I had a full-time job in Tokyo, and searching for great specialty cafes in the city is one of my favorite things to do on weekends. So I have drawn many related themes in my work.

Workers in the pot

When I was a child, I believed that teapots were tools to turn water into tea. Magic little men are living in the teapot and working there.

I imagined those tiny magic animals lives inside the rounded space. And wondering if we human species are trapped in some other giant creature's everyday household item?

112

After all, we are the only species who stay in a manufactured shelter. We work non-stop here and there, in all kinds of buildings. Have you ever noticed that Mr. Mansion has a daily stretching routine in the early morning?

Scissor island in the ocean

I learned how to say scissors in Japanese when working with co-workers on an exhibition set-up. After work, I boarded a shinkansen train that day. When I tried to find the ticket in my pocket, the big scissor touched my hand. Unfortunately, I forgot to take it out! I panicked for a second on a moving train and felt I was the most suspicious passenger.

116
