For some reason, I had major writers block in coming up with article about April ...went down a few rabbit holes in my quest for the PERFECT idea. Dirt Cake I (** I owe this recipe idea to Rena Herring - She introduced this crazy concoction to me for my oldest son’s birthday many years ago! It looks gross but is a HUGE hit with the kids Parents Warning: THERE will be a major sugar crash! ha! sorry!

Directions: This is a great conversation piece at parties. Adults love it as much as the children do. Get a new garden trowel, medium sized flower pot and artificial flower at a craft store for full effect. Servings: 10 | Yield: 1 medium size flower pot Instructions Checklist • Step 1: Chop cookies very fine in food processor. The white cream will disappear. • Step 2: Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar in bowl. • Step 3: In a large bowl mix milk, pudding and whipped topping together. • Step 4: Combine pudding mixture and cream mixture together. • Step 5: Layer in flower pot, starting with cookies then cream mixture. Colors You Use to Decorate

Your Home Can Affect Your Mood

hen decorating your home, think about the type of mood you want to create for family members and guests. Colors have profound psychological

effects and most people tend to respond to them in similar ways, although different shades may evoke different emotional responses. In general, lighter colors can make a room feel brighter and larger, while darker colors are warm and make a room feel more intimate.

COLORS and the Feelings They Produce Blue evokes feelings of security, stability and order. Warm

shades of blue can be soothing and can make people feel comfortable, but darker shades can elicit feelings of sadness.

Green is a refreshing color that has a calming effect, which

makes it a good choice for an area where people socialize, such as a living room or family room. Green also pairs well with many other colors, giving you a wide range of design options.

Yellow is a cheerful

color that can make a room look inviting. People may associate yellow with spring or fall, depending on the shade. Although yellow can make a room feel welcoming, it can elicit negative emotions when used in large amounts.

Brown can make a living room, dining room or bedroom

Red is visually and mentally stimulating. It’s a good color

We had quite an adventure finding our first home. We got our first preapproval two years ago, went under contract for the first time 9 months ago, and then had a realtor never reach out to us again after a home contract fell through. This left us a little unsure of our plans, but when it was time to find another realtor we decided to meet with Tony because he was local. When we had our first sit-down meeting with Tony, we were going to school and working, and he had to fit himself around our schedules in order to meet with us.
